Try rubbing betadine solution (antiseptic) and burn the needle, let it cool down and use it... But remember to never cause any bleeding to the skin, only pull the hair or the dead skin, if it bleeds then you're doing it wrong If you can't see it then wait and use cutacnyl and hydrocortisone creams to lessens the irritation, Salycilic acid to exfoliate, once you can see it just beneath the skin try carefully to pull it off the skin.. But don't tweeze it, since when you do that and the irritation is still there the next hair will also grow under and you never get rid of the problem.. Just wait till all the hairs are out and the skin is clear from ANY inflammation or bumps and shave/epilate Hope this help

Omg husband and my 9 year old get ingrown hairs and I FINALLY figured out how to get rid of them !! I use very pointed tweezers, pull the hair out and get all of the contents in the bump out, they pat dry, use rubbing alcohol to dry them up, dab about 2 drops of tea tree oil on it to prevent infection, put a coat of 1-2 % of salicylic acid cream, let that dry and put a coat of tolnaftate, (anti fungal cream) works like a charm !! Seriously, after 3 days you could hardly tell that there were any bumps to begin with !!!

I once had a hair growing out of the bottom of my heel, of all places. I hate till this day i didn't measure it, cause it was like maybe 1 cm. Out, and as i gently pulled it (untill tension) it was proably 3cm. Then pulling it hard to make it lose it's grib inside my heel, and the thing came out with maybe + 2cm. Maybe 6cm. Overall. That was quite something. Even clear fluid ran out the tiny, but long hole in my foot. Never experienced it since then.
That must've been so painful but so relieving to get out! It sounds like you maybe had a 'hair splinter', since your leg hair probably doesn't grow that long. Great you haven't had one since though!

I get lots of very deep ingrown hairs. I normally clean a needle and just pull it out. If I just leave them they basically always become red kinda painful puss bumps.
Sadly laser hair removal isn't permanent. It differs from people to people but usually you will need 5 to 10 even more treatments and hair won't come out until 6 month to few years and hair does come back. Not all but some or more. You will need to get more treatments. Some people lasted 10 years without most hair coming back. But that was her under arm. Places like under arm works better because it is not exposed to the light that much as your face does. The places that are more exposed to lights tend get re-growing of hair faster.

Basically sometimes your skin overreacts with the ingrown hair and turns into this big ass purple spot (happens to me all the time) which can be filled with pus and blood so u gotta pop it to get the pus out and once the blood is gone you should see a hair which is what u pull out
That's gross to leave the hair, all ingrown hairs that I found are gross to the root. My normal hair have small white grains on the roots, ingrowns have some kind of black sticky gross root.. I feel better without that sticky roots under my skin and the ingrowns always have some rough texture that is different than the rest. Remove ingrows and stay away from me if you keep them in your skin.

Kid Jay Hi, I’m a licensed esthetician, and that happens pretty often! When you see that, it means that the hair follicle has gotten infected which means do NOT touch, poke, or try to pop anything. Best thing is just to leave it alone and it typically goes away on its own. If it’s really bothersome, you can apply a warm compress to soothe it and encourage healing but if it doesn’t go away or gets worse/more red and painful see your doctor! If it is on a part of your body covered by clothes, especially in the genital region, wearing loose fitting clothing made from non irritating fabrics like cotton will keep it from getting further irritated along with prevent further bumps. Hope this helped! :)
