Otsukare-sama to Emma & Sarah! Speaking only Japanese is a little challenging but was super fun to film! Can you guys speak any Japanese? Let us know! ❤
I actually understood quite a lot (and for the rest I used the sub-titles) - Been studying for 1.5 years by now and videos like this are gold - So thanks! 😀
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do more videos like this. This is pure GOLD for people learning japanese. I know it's a pain to add subs but i think lots of us would LOVE if you made more videos like this, or even a separate channel with only videos in Japanese.
I’ve only recently started learning and hearing English speaking people doing conversational Japanese is so eye opening. The accent and cadence makes it so much easier to pick up.
Beautiful ladies out and about having fun while fluently speaking a whole different language other than their own is such a vibe for me that I was hoping for a longer video I love getting to know you all through the q&a part, please do more.
I really enjoyed the Q&A part, the questions were great and it was awesome seeing Emma and Sarah speaking so casually with each other in Japanese. It's clear they have a pretty good friendship :)
you sounded great ladies you have come a long way and I hope you do more in the future props to not just your ability to speak but to express yourselves like japanese people do
ありがとうございます!! I loved this! I always feel excited when I can catch one of you speaking Japanese in the other videos so it was such a treat to have the whole thing be in Japanese. I studied Japanese all through highschool but it's been a long time since then and a great many of my skills have disappeared 😭The thing I struggled with the most back then though was different numbers for different items.
I really love videos like these. It's so inspiring to watch non-Japanese speaking so fluently in Japanese and it really nudges me to want to be more motivated in improving my Japanese
Wahhhh! I like seeing videos of Alex, Sara and Emma together! Thanks for talking in Japanese for the whole video! You managed to sound Japanese but still keep a bit of your normal accent too which sounds good :)
Really enjoyed this video! It feels like I'm travelling with 2 Japanese friends who are speaking to me in Japanese. I'm not great at the language so it's great that you have subtitles for us to double check what you're saying!
This is a great video! Both of your Japanese is really good and inspiring me to keep studying and get better at speaking Japanese. Would love to see another video like this!
Ligitimatly makes me want to continue lerning japanese. i stopped for no reason, and listening to both of you speak to clearly and fluently, just makes me enthuiastic to learn again
That was AWESOME! 🤩 Since both of you have such a crisp pronounciation without any dialect, even I as a beginner can understand a good amount. Please make more videos like this, I‘d really appreciate it!☺️
That was great fun! I'd watch more of these. How do native Japanese speakers respond to you speaking their language? Do they correct your grammatical errors or do they ignore them?
I really like how japanese sounds so that was nice. It's also interesting to see/hear how you guys talk as non natives and how it changes the way you talk and behave a bit. Like gestures and stuff too 👀😆
I loved this video! I would love to see more! I'm in my first year of studying Japanese and I recognized a lot of what yall were saying, which was really exciting honestly.
YAAASS Emma with the hyperpop love! When you mentioned you listened to 100 gecs for some reason i was like yep. makes sense haha! i'm more of a SOPHIE fan myself and im sure since you've been on the hyperpop train you would have stumbled over their music. Love this video and i hope you will do another like this soon. thanks!
Hahaha! Super impressed by your fluent Japanese. Would definitely watch another one of these, especially with another Q&A! also I recognized Emma's persimmon cardigan immediately :)
Wow. I am so impressed by ur Japanese skills 😱 I am Japanese but grew up in the US and I could not hold a Convo only in Japan. Also love Sarah's love for One OK Rock! They are some awesome :)
Hahaha, that Q&A section was fun. Both of your Japanese is really impressive and makes me want to learn it properly (and not just from watching anime).
I can't believe my question and blurred out face appeared in this video!!! Super excited!! I am still at a beginers level in Japanese. This was Epic!! Love watching your video!! (Whether or not I happen to randomly appear like a wild pokemon)
Otsukare-sama to Emma & Sarah!
Speaking only Japanese is a little challenging but was super fun to film! Can you guys speak any Japanese? Let us know! ❤
I mean-
I can't make sentences and all, but i do know Arigato, Konn'ichiwa, Gomenasaii, gambare and a bit more. Basically learned from anime heh-
セラ、エマ、アレクス、日本語めちゃ上手よ!
I actually understood quite a lot (and for the rest I used the sub-titles) - Been studying for 1.5 years by now and videos like this are gold - So thanks! 😀
Not yet but hopefully someday in the future! Great video!!
The only Japanese word I know is henne, which is weird.
It's interesting how speaking a language other than your own can change your personality almost.
Ayo ma can I holler at you. Doesn't translate well so I gotta be more polite
What I came to say
It’s just the way you express yourself is different not your personality necessarily
Exactly. As if that's how they are if they are with the Japanese people. Joey does the same way and I quite like it
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do more videos like this.
Wow, Sarah’s speaking style and vocab choices are impressively aligned with the way Japanese young people speak! Impressive 😲
This is just us third-wheeling on Emma and Sarah's date.
Been swearing for a couple years now that they're dating. I don't KNOW, of course, but ngl I ship it.
Loved this. As someone who is learning Japanese this was great!
Would have double-loved Japanese subtitles, but it was still fantastic!!
Agreed! I would’ve loved Japanese subtitles. I’m a beginner myself. 一月から四月まで日本語を勉強をしました。

OMG these native Japanese girls are like emma and sarah's doppelgangers. resemblance is uncanny!
Beautiful ladies out and about having fun while fluently speaking a whole different language other than their own is such a vibe for me that I was hoping for a longer video I love getting to know you all through the q&a part, please do more.
Both of you killed it and really enboldened me to keep practicing speaking Japanese everyday!
This was so much fun! I’d love more 日本語だけ videos~
I really enjoyed the Q&A part, the questions were great and it was awesome seeing Emma and Sarah speaking so casually with each other in Japanese. It's clear they have a pretty good friendship :)
waaa Emma's Japanese speaking skills and comprehension have improved sooooo much!
you sounded great ladies you have come a long way and I hope you do more in the future props to not just your ability to speak but to express yourselves like japanese people do
