I love Carols character in the end it shows how resilient a woman is and how u shouldn’t underestimate them. She went from being housewife to running her own community and making tough calls. I say she better than Rick most of the time
You and I have the same thinking about Carol on the new show. I remember reading somewhere (can't remember where) that Melissa McBride's father had some health issues and she did not want to spend protracted time out of the country, and I get that. I think her character is going to be on the show long enough to finish some loose ends with Daryl. I'm not in the romance between the two group. I have always seen them as really close friends because they had some of the same backstory with abuse, and they understand each other. If you've followed all the interviews and Comicom Q&A sessions from the beginning, Norman Reedus has also seen real growth in a different way than Daryl but still I think both the actor and the character he plays have grown into admirable men. I'd love to see this new show get its own following and success. Daryl has been my favorite character since the end of Season 1.
I remembered something about health issues, but I didnt kno if that was real or just fandom speculation. I think I could be a good balance to have Carol around for a few seasons and then have Daryl travel around with his new group. I'd love to see more countries on the show.
I dont "want her gone" I just dont care that Carol is on the show. Daryl is why im watching. Give Carol a good story and she can stay as long as she wants to.

That's why she wasn't in season 1, but now that she's on the show I'm sure she'll see it through to the end.
She didn't want go France that why her name wasn't in first season

As long as they think out the storylines it can go longer. Ive liked it so far.
