Built as part of a fundraiser for the Vic High Improv group's trip to Germany in 2014, the TARDIS replica was constructed by Alex Hewko and friends over a period of several months. Made for a total cost of $850.
That's a real hybrid build there. No one model features predominantly. I guess if you want to choose bits from one and bits from another and blend them together... it all depends on what you like as opposed to what the show ones looked like.
Hello, I'm Bill Rudloff and I think your build is ace. The rounded corners on the NST is a nice touch. It was also nice to see my plans. How much did the box go for? Cheers!
Hey Bill. I think it went for around $800, bit that was more or less the break even point. I just did the filming, not the build. It's going to it's new home tomorrow in Vancouver.
Hello, my name is Alex Hewko (don't worry Chris, simple mistake), I was the one who built this big blue box. I just want to say thanks for creating those plans. They really did help. I have dozens of pictures of the build, and if there's some way to share them publicly, I would love to.
*Though apparently, the official (aka BBC-approved) color of the TARDIS is Pantone 2955 C. In hex code, that’s either #003D6B (Regal Blue) or #003865 (Midnight Blue). Citation: www.lomography.com/magazine/244019-monday-moodboard-blue-as-the-ocean-blue-as-the-tardis
There are plans online - the designer/builder decided to combine his favourite elements from different Doctor's Tardi to make a unique design. I just produced the video, and wasn't involved in the design or construction at all. Sorry!
funny how my tardis is being built by some random shop teacher from my mom's work cause both my dad and mom are to lazy to help with the cutting of wood, painting, and lifting things up that are to heavy for me or are to high up for me to put them there, and yours or the improve team is built by a shop teacher crazy coincidence
You guys wouldnt happen to still have it would you? I'm looking for one for my own personal use. I'm way too stupid to build my own and my shop teacher in my school would NEVER let us do anything like this. But i was wondering if you would be willing to sell it to me.
I built a TARDIS! (sort of) I can't get it to travel in time and space. yet. and it seems to have materialized inside the wall of my home office. th-cam.com/video/t0N2uWGeNTs/w-d-xo.html
I so wish I had this as a vestibule for my “almost” tiny house.
We stored ours in the hall between rooms. After we left and took it away people were genuine amazed there were extra rooms

Very cool, I hope it goes to lots of shows and stuff!
We made one for Recall UNIT
Love this TARDIS this is my favourite TARDIS, I’d love to build my own one-day

LoudnProud42 Hey Alex (HEWKO - oops, sorry) - create a Google+ photo album and share it publically. You can post a link here in the comments.
Hey Alex and Chris! If you are a member of www.tardisbuilders.com, you can do a build diary thread and also a gallery of the complete build.
you now have another subscriber
We never got to see everything fully completed and operational in this video... that was the payoff I was waiting for!
Where did you get the "Police Public Call Box" signs from? I'm building my own life-size TARDIS and finding the signs is kind of difficult.

I Am A Wolf Bad Wolf?
custom built in Illustrator
What's the colour you used. Other people seem to use a paler blue which just doesnt look right

Where do I order one?
Where do you get the dimensions to build the Tardis and if you could make another video showing the Tardis plans or something like that.

Thanks for letting me know. :)
How much did you get for this at auction?
around $800 or so if I remember.
I have an idea

You should time travel
Sorry Doc, it was auctioned off many months ago.
Bullocks alright.... thank you
Paint it then cover it in Artex and grubby it up.
It’s so easy to fail
