They don't hire a large enough team for games, they cut corners, they suck. But this leaves the dev team with a problem they can't do anything about: They don't have the manpower to simultaneously create the new content and give the game the attention it so drastically needs. Yes, it sucks that the polish map is being dropped and we need to play 3 more months without new ops, and that Glaz isn't getting a nerf yet. But this game can be so much more than it is, and I believe these 3 months might just give the team the time it needs to fix some of the core problems, the problems we all get tilted about (servers, hit reg, matchmaking, retarded glitches). In addition I they can maybe get ahead on working on the content they will be releasing this year so they can dedicate more dev time to fixing problems that arise throughout the year. I hope this is enough time to make the game as great as it should be. As in depth as this game is, and as heavy a role as strategy plays, we should not have to put up with shitty servers, clients side smoke and debris and the retarded peeker's advantage. And for those who can't accept the delay, consider this: If, in these 3 months they succeed in improving the aforementioned, and we end up with good tick rates and hit reg, we will have that for the rest of the game's life cycle. See it as a sacrifice we make now, that in the long term will mean a greater game for all of us. As a closing statement, I have a request to the dev team: Please no bamboozle. Now that you commit to fixing shit, actually fix it. If you fuck this up, you will lose so many players. Also, Badger, I want to thank you for getting me into this game. Love ya

Why not wait until the holiday seasons, when they'll have less people playing(new games and such) AND be able to give a real notice, hell this should have been thought through and announced before the year 2 season pass was available for sale. Beyond that, Ubi has been "fixing" these issues forever, at best it stays more or less the same, at worst, and more commonly, they end up breaking other stuff too, I don't see anything really changing with this. And beyond that, with what Badger said, the core game works fine, for more casual players there really isn't a big problem with anything. This is clearly just cover for being behind on the DLC, and trying to minimize damage by giving us what we want. But, since it's all worded so incredibly vaguely they don't have to worry about not meeting expectations.
