A great rock vocalist and a great songwriter. Some extraordinary tracks on his consistently solid solo albums. How and why Parlophone failed to promote them properly is a mystery. They missed a trick with one of the best rock/pop songwriters of the last 30 years, in his own right, outside of Queen. I hope the box set of solo work emerges next year as hinted.

I love when they cover people I also love. Love this John Lennon cover he sang. 2005 and I'm living like a mix generation of now and my parents generation. Mostly in music, style in clothes and not looking at the screen of my phone cause I only use it for emergency or listening to music or playing along with music so I can say I could survive without WiFi cause I have other things I do most of the time that doesn't need WiFi or Internet. Like playing an instrument, songwriting or reading a book or just simply going out and help out at home like chores. I have CDs and a radio so I'm safe cause I have another way of listening to music without a phone, computer or ipad. No one at my school or in my grade knows john lennon or Paul McCartney or George Harrison or Ringo Starr. They know Queen but I doubt they know Roger, Brian and John Deacon names. Oh well. I'll be sure to pass their music on to my kids if o have some when I'm a adult and grandchildren. Possibly great grandchildren if I make it to a older age. Only time will tell.
