Is it just me or this routine lacked something? I watched texas tech after and its night and day i feel like. Has anyone seen tvcc this year? I feel like level of difficulty went down too
After watching both NC and Texas Tech, I kind of feel like TT just got better choreo. Like there are more interesting formations, level changes, and transitions. This year's Navarro routine seems like nothing really flows right into the next thing, it's almost like there's these abrupt changes between sections, if that makes sense. All of them work so hard so I don't want to take that away from them, it really seems like the choreo just isn't the strongest for NC this year.
@@paliia No I know but that doesn't change the fact that the choreo for each team is still quite different from one another. Even the best choreographers don't nail it every time, that's kind of what it looks like happened here (imo of course).

Anyone saying this routine lacks something doesn’t understand the scoresheet. Also they are only up against one team (2 total but only one competitive). They don’t have the push the envelope much. However I actually think this IS their BEST routine in a long time. I see much better technique than in previous years. One- those coed stunts are held by one guy, not two. Two- their legs in tumbling are much more laid out, especially the girls. I only saw 2 janky fulls from the girls and only one was a highlighted pass. They’re doing what any team needs to do to win. Solid technique, hitting the scoresheet, and not outdoing themselves. All that said, every routine I’ve seen this year seems rushed. Rushed is different than fast paced. You can be fast paced and not look like you’d be winded. Every routine, including this one, looks rushed, way too fast. Really wish NCA would give teams 2:30 instead of 2:15 especially since the :45 cheer is gone now.
People think that just because they aren’t being sassy and performing it means they will lose, they don’t have a clue how the scoresheet works. This was a little sloppy but the difficulty etc is right up there so they will definitely clean it up in time for Daytona next week
@@nicks.6524 very easily fixed though. there’s a lot of rookies on the team who haven’t performed before so could just be that the nerves took over and made them rush/overthink which is understandable. they have another showcase today so let’s see how they do

En el 2021 usaron mitad de la pirámide del 2020 y los stunts, así que no podrían usarlo. También siento que está sencilla, pero quizás al haber nuevos no pudieron darle más dificultad o algo. A ver qué tal les va I guess
Quedamos con gusto a poco, a lo que hemos visto en otras rutinas de este equipo, ojo porque pueden y trabajan duro para estar en lo top... Y siento que este año como que se desinflaron😢

Hmm Relatively clean extremely safe routine Didn’t see any bar pushing! I think this is one of the first Navarro routines I never double tapped to rewind 😕 But still can’t take away the fact they worked hard and got 🥈

Ok see that’s what I see too!! It’s slower but yet feels rushed. Not as entertaining. Pretty routine but not entertaining or the wow factor they usually have. I get scoresheets change but that never stopped them from giving that before. Giving more UCA skill over the exciting performance & choreo ppl like in NCA more & idr when UK did NCA. They were very UCA game day which just isn’t fun to watch. The new coach is NV alumni but then cheered at UK. She’s a great cheerleader no doubt about that. But it’s like they tried to combine the 2 types & it’s lost trying to do so

They need to clean up this routine tho. It has all the parts to hit the scoresheet but their spacing is awful in all of their stunts. And their poor pyramid barely hit on either side
Not as good as Weber State! Weber is more polished and don’t have to try so hard. Navarro reminds me of the little girl cheerleaders you find in private gyms. Navarro is too, too much.
