Kids record everything as well as document their whole lives on social media now. Doesn’t mean they were doing a “stunt for social media”… it means they were out doing whatever they do, while recording it, and the kid slipped and fell.
Would sort of be no different if they were jaywalking and got hit by a car. Doesn’t make it a “stunt for social media”. They were filming themselves going somewhere, jaywalked and there was an accident.

The moment you go beyond that point, you do so at your own risk. I have a son as well, but he understands there are always consequences for our behaviors. As benign as you may think the behavior is. Tragically, a lot of our youth are paying those consequences with their lives.

I feel sorrow for the parents, but children cannot be brought up in a government bubble. We used to climb water towers, illegally of course, wander in the oil fields, and play around mine shafts. If we were dumb enough or unlucky enough to hurt ourselves or lose our lives that wasn't the fault of the government. We were told not to do these things but did them anyway. There is danger in all areas of city or country life, you just hope you gave your kid enough common sense and makes it to adulthood.
