I visited Gene Aurtry's western heritage museum not long before James Arness passed away. I did not get to see him but I bought a copy of his auto biography and they asked me if I would like for him to sign it and of course I did, left it with them and a week or two later it came to my mailbox. You have a great collection there from what I see in this video and your curator has done a great job. Back in the 60's Dan Blocker appeared Ghost Town in the Sky in Maggie Valley, NC. He was paid a sum of $5000.00 for two days at that popular old west attraction on a mountain. So many people showed up they had to manage the crowds by only letting people go up the mountain by allowing visitors to go in according to the number of visitors leaving.
