Inspite of a few comments and your befitting reply what I like about all your recipes and your principle with regards to your cooking usage of ghee , oil I truly love it. Anything rich in oil or ghee is not eaten every day so once in a while eating it this way full of flavor, aroma and taste is heavenly

I tried this today as of copy from your recipe. Came out very well. Taste super. I tried a round in ghee. Arumaii. For a change some with oil. I realised the difference as u said.

The Poovan banana is generally used as it is used for fermenting the dough . Half pinch of edible camphor can also be used. All other ingrediants are correct.

I often make this recipe and cook in Ghee only. Such a lovely tasty one. I won't add baking soda. Even without baking soda it comes very soft. You said to add cumin powder and thil, which looks new to me. Will give a try adding these two ingredients.
