This song mirrors my daddy and brother. My daddy is now in heaven. My brother is in the hospital after suffering a double stroke . He’s only 55 years old. Please pray for him . I can’t bear losing him after losing our daddy. I’m so broken

I had a father, but that we did together was work. He never told me that he loved me, he never ever hugged me. He belted me violently when I made a mistake. He broke my mother's heart because he was an adulterer. The funny is that I loved him and always forgave him. I am glad that I took after my mother. She protected me when I was aa boy. He repented and came to the Lord just before the Lord took him. I will see him in glory.
Me and my son have been estranged for a long time. Way before I surrendered my life to christ. I have one huge prayer, that's God mend it. If I could have 1 wish it would be to sit down and tell him about my lord Jesus

I sit and shed tears of joy and sadness...this song is so reflective of my father and brother...the sadness comes from the fact that our precious God fearing Baptist preacher father has gone on to be with his heavenly Father but the joy is the fact that my brother continues to carry the gospel...though plagued with c.o.p.d. now he still stands and proclaims the Word of God and one day we'll be reunited with our earthly father and blessed to stand in the presence of our heavenly Father....Thank you and thank the Lord for this video and this song...God Bless you and your family!!

My mom is 80,and just got out o f rehab,due to a stroke,from a neck nerve compression..Spinal cord pressing in her neck vertebrae..She lost a lot of strength,and her left side is weak..But I have lived with her,for 5 yrs.,and am going to care for her, until I can't. And I am determined,with Gods help,to make sure she does not end up in a nursing home. The rehab was also a nursing home.. People were there that made you cry. A little old lady who owned a thrift shop,was in there..i used to clean her shop,and apartment above..and she fell,and could not get stronger,and got alzheimers, and was put in there..She did not recognize,or remember me,at first..but when I explained that I cleaned her shop and home,and rode a bicycle,and told her my name,,she broke out in the sweetest smile,and said I remember you now!! Made me sad,to see such a beautiful soul,trapped in that body..she is there,for the rest of her life..And that aint all..her husband,a retired plumber,from this town,fell and broke his hip..They put them in the same room,He don't have memory problems yet..but she was always telling me..He is trying hard to find us a home..I want to go home...Made me cry. You never know,what is around the next corner. I pray God has his hand on you and your family!! I love this song, and see what our family missed by losing my Grandfather when my father was only 5 years old. He never had the guidance, or felt the love, of a father, and instead had an abusive stepfather. He didn't become a Christian until he was 60, as a teenager I found Christ but had turmoil in my family but now have good relationship with my dad. My children's dad died when they were teens, from brain cancer. People judge them, not knowing the difficulties people, without fathers, face.

I got to meet James Easter when my Aunt, my daughter & I visited Mt Airy, NC this past July. I had only vaguely heard of the Easter brothers at that time, but had heard several songs by Jeff & Sheri. I purchased this CD & my daughter, who has some learning disabilities & doesn't quite understand everything about God, absolutely loves it. She wants to play it every time we get in the car. I did not have that with My Father on earth. He was an abusive Mean alcoholic and Not one day of this type of love was shown for us Kids. That is why this is so Special. And has a Double meaning. And I do Have that Fathers Mercy . The tone , the words , and the Closeness of these 2 setting in a House of worship, makes it all the more special in my opinion. Touches me deep inside my heart. I love this song, and see what our family missed by losing my Grandfather when my father was only 5 years old. He never had the guidance, or felt the love, of a father, and instead had an abusive stepfather. He didn't become a Christian until he was 60, as a teenager I found Christ but had turmoil in my family but now have good relationship with my dad. My children's dad died when they were teens, from brain cancer. People judge them, not knowing the difficulties people, without fathers, face.

I got to meet James Easter when my Aunt, my daughter & I visited Mt Airy, NC this past July. I had only vaguely heard of the Easter brothers at that time, but had heard several songs by Jeff & Sheri. I purchased this CD & my daughter, who has some learning disabilities & doesn't quite understand everything about God, absolutely loves it. She wants to play it every time we get in the car. Thank you James & Jeff for such a beautiful song.

When I watch you on U- tube it make me think of my Dad and Mom.But I willed meet them again on the beautiful side of Heaven on that beautiful shore. My Dad and my Mom were both they sang in the church.

I will do the Best I can to Ignore the 90 that are Miserable Excuses for Humans. The Song means So Much & is about the Love between our Heavenly Father as well as our Earth Father. I did not have that with My Father on earth. He was an abusive Mean alcoholic and Not one day of this type of love was shown for us Kids. That is why this is so Special. And has a Double meaning. And I do Have that Fathers Mercy . The tone , the words , and the Closeness of these 2 setting in a House of worship, makes it all the more special in my opinion. Touches me deep inside my heart.
