Hi all! If anyone here for nostalgia is curious, people out there are still making this genre of music. Check out artists like DJ Spyroof, Stefan KC, and others if you want to find more like this. There are also tons of other great artists who made music inspired by these classics throughout the remainder of the 2000s and well into the 2010s with a few still producing as of 2022.

All I can say is welcome to the best style of music there is. To answer your question trance is a is a sub-genre of electric/techno. A loose definition of trance is a song with a upbeat tempo around 120-170 but it biggest detail is the mid-song breakdown. This song has its breakdown at 2:20 then cont. into a melodic fade out which is a characteristic of trance.
thanks for the more technical definition. A lot better than just saying 'it's a vibe' or 'ya know it when you hear it'. This one might even consider trying to make some itself some day As it's been considering since, like, probably 2009 or so XD
You just don't find videos like this anymore. Nowadays everything is just a 2 hour videos with 30 different songs in it. It's almost lost it's personality.
