Continental bulldogs are very new. It's basically a cross breed between a English Bulldog and a old English Bulldog. To basically revert a few of the health issues that modern bulldogs have. For example, continental bulldogs have a full snout. They don't have issues breathing and they also don't have overbite. It's a Swiss breed and only around since.. 10 to 20 years I belive
@@barrakuda5555 Hello, I have a Conti for 2 months, so I can say something ;). 4 months is bit hard time for dog, but if it comes to learn, my Jax learns VERY fast! I use a clicker for new commands, and then just reapeating them without it. Sit, come back, put down, stay, leave it, on site and give me a paw, thats what I teached him and basically it takes 1-2 sessions to remember. So they learn quick, on the other hand they are still bulldogs so my is stubborn in a funny way, if he does not want to go walk (sic!) he fakes sleep, goes under the table :D or if he doesn't walk somewhere he jest sits. Well If You want to teach a Conti commands, he gets them fast, no problem. But it's a bulldog not a malliois, keep sessions short. But You can alway pick a more active puppy (we chose the laziest one :D:D:D).
