Kikoru is the Second Protagonist of this Show. :) she takes more center stage than Mina and Ichikawa. Actually if Kafka didn't exist she would be the actual Protagonist lol but probably it wouldn't have the best ending at all.

Great reaction vid guys but to tell you why you like it. As a someone who's in his 30's I feel I can relate to Kafka more because of his age. Most shonen anime the mc's are usually teenagers.
Thats certainly a factor for sure! Theres something refreshing about having the show not center around someone whos 15 years old. The music just sounds great as well and the characters so far are intriguing. The show has us hooked and I personally think it will be my favorite anime of the season. Ive seen some people already saying the show looks badly animated and doesnt look good but I hope people will give this one a shot. It just feels so good to watch. - Red
@@TheHideoutReactsDefinitely not badly animated but people tend to mix art style and animation in one. I've seen complaints on the art direction because compared to the manga they have more rounded designs, but the manga is sharper.

Oh man I fell in love with Kaiju no 8 since the 1st ep and it have became so hooked on me and watching it now seeing people getting into it and their reaction is so cool
Kaiju No. 8 has the “Dr. Stone effect”. You like it, but you got no idea why. 😂
