Glad you enjoyed it, I agree with you. I think the small towns are really cool. I love the architecture in this part of the country. It’s very different than where I am from.
Good stuff brother! You had to keep recharging your Harley battery but you also got to recharge your heart and mind being with family and friends. Stay safe out there on the road. BTW, I used to drive a big truck for about 3 years when I retired out of the army in 97. Sorry I missed you and the crew in Myrtle Beach recently. I came home from South Korea during the rally but I just had too much work to do at home and only 2 weeks to do it in. I hardly had any time to ride my Harley. Maybe next time.
Thank you, Mike, you’re absolutely right, even though it was a hassle to keep changing the battery. I really enjoyed the ride and the time with my family. Completely understandable that you couldn’t make it out. There’s always next time.
Sorry to hear you couldn’t make it to the UP of Michigan. It’s a very beautiful place. I was born up there moved away when I was in 5th grade because of no more work in the copper industry for my father. Moved to southeastern Wisconsin. But come back every year for over 50 years now to visit relatives. In fact I am up there right now. If you ever get the chance again definitely visit!
Great video Adam glad Goliath is back up and running. It always nice to enjoy some time with family and take a trip down memory lane. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Adam and Katie and Talon.
Thank you, Richard. And you’re absolutely right it felt really good to visit with the family and see some of the old places. Especially my grandparents farm. I really miss being able to spend time there.
Hauled a lot or iron out of Auburn at the steel plant. Get off the weedport exit. Nice to get stuck over weekend go see the dirt races back 25-30 years ago. Lots of snow in winter 😅
Yes, I used to love going to the races at the Cuca county Fairgrounds. And the concert series that they had in the late 80s there during the summers were great as well.
I was not born in New York. My mom was born in Weedsport. But she moved to Florida just before I was born. But I spent my summers in New York on the farm with my grandparents while my mom worked.
I wear my helmet most of the time. Especially if I’m going out to ride. If I’m just running a quick errand sometimes I won’t. However, New York state it’s law to have a helmet.
I was so focused on trying to find the hard to find parts for Goliath that I didn’t even attempt to even diagnose whether it was a state or whether rectifier. Realistically, I want to just replace both of them because there is a massive amount of hours on that entire system. I tried to order them a few days ago, but the whole kit is on back order until the end of July
Glad you got Goliath fixed nice to spend time with family you said you were going to the UP of Michigan where about because I live on the west end of the UP just curious how close you were to me
A nice change of pace, to be able to take a ride and visit family. I'm sure it was enjoyed by all. Very glad to see Goliath running well. Ride on AA and family!! 😊
Ok.. concentrate on finding the wildest multi wheel sports thingies when you get to Deadwood.. and buy KT some pipes this year! KT if he don't buy you pipes, we'll take up donations sweety, don't worry
I think my aunt and uncle really enjoyed it. I remember riding with them when I was a kid. My Aunt Nancy has MS so hasn’t been able to ride in a few decades. And Uncle Ed had actually just sold his bike that morning before we showed up. Because he can’t ride anymore either.
@@amsoiladam I think you should get Dave Kindig to make you some drawings of a Goliath bust Hood ornament with a full head of hair, and beard. Then you have an excuse to wear a long haired hippie wig, and you can mess and prank on with family like never before.
Fingers crossed and the creek don't rise.THAT Y'ALL HAVE A SAFE TRIP 🙏 AND NO MORE PROBLEMS 🙏.
Thank you, David. So far, everything is going smooth.
Nothing better than family time and great memories!

Safe travels west.

Great video brother. See you in sturgis.
Can't wait!

I saw Guns and Roses open up for Aerosmith at the Weedsport Motor Speedway back in summer 1988!
Would you believe me if I told you that was my very first concert as well?
@@amsoiladam great show, general admission, it was so hot that night.
Love the term "Wind Therapy" I'll use it...
It’s why you never see a motorcycle, parked out front of a therapist office
Good luck
Thank you

I purchased a truck in weedsport a few years back . Auburn is a nice area !
That’s awesome. Yeah I always enjoyed the Auburn area, and Weedsport was just like the little hometown for me
Hello, & a really good song 🎵/ music 🎶
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it
Seems like a real nice area you were in.
It was!

Hi Adam, you’re in my backyard. Stop by in Rochester!
Too late now I’m already in South Dakota
Awesome ride didn't know you were born in NY very cool, time to fix the bike
I was not born in New York. My mom was born in Weedsport. But she moved to Florida just before I was born. But I spent my summers in New York on the farm with my grandparents while my mom worked.
ah ok
Great Vlog! Glad to see you meet up with relatives and ride! Surprised everyone's wearing helmets!👍 I've got to get myself into that good habit!

You can tell you're definitely shade tree you have a motorhome and you go in the store and buy your coffee and treats
Most times I brewed my coffee inside. But I really like pilot coffee.
Cool little towns, best parts of country to see is small town america!! Keep us posted on what you find on charging system..
I agree, I love the little towns and the architecture within them
Glad you got to see your Family and got to Ride with them for a little while
Thank you, Billy. I appreciate you watching.
@@amsoiladam You're Welcome Adam, I'm enjoying the Videos
I can't believe you have not had time to repair your bike! Sitting around drinking coffee at the truck stop. Have a good trip west. Mark from Tucson.

Cruzin music means we are back on the road.
So..those multi wheel sports thingies didn't collide with each other.. noticed you gave KT extra room
A friend of mine did the Joey's ride. The UP is absolutely beautiful. You will need to come back and visit.
Yeah, I’m really sad that we missed it. I was really looking forward to it and hopefully we can do it next year.
Glad you got Goliath fixed nice to spend time with family you said you were going to the UP of Michigan where about because I live on the west end of the UP just curious how close you were to me
We were going to stop in Saint Ignace. But we had to cancel those plans because of the breakdown.
Excellent!
Many thanks!

Thank you, Dwight, I truly appreciate the kind words. And we really did enjoy our time.
Glad Goliath running good!! Glad you had a great time with family after al that hard work on Goliath!! Stay safe out there!! Peace!!
Yes, it definitely feels good to get back on the road again after such a stressful repair
Nice country up there except for the billboards what was the problem with your bike safe trip
It would seem that the charging system has failed. So the battery is not recharging when the bike is running.
@@amsoiladam hopefully it is something simple
Ok.. concentrate on finding the wildest multi wheel sports thingies when you get to Deadwood.. and buy KT some pipes this year! KT if he don't buy you pipes, we'll take up donations sweety, don't worry
Hey, I just bought her a more comfy seat and a backrest and a tour pack. She can’t get everything all at once.
@@amsoiladam oh..hmmm.. I was not aware of that. Well, buy the pipes and hide them till Christmas
Who built Goliath? Hes huge.
Apparently, it was a husband and wife team up in Canada
Adem I have lots of room for your rig at my house in upper parking come anytime stay as long as you want
Where would that be?
Adam Eric here again. Does your mom still live in the ole LK Mary neighborhood? If so, how is she? Do you ever visit her when you are in town?
No Eric she lives over in flat rock North Carolina now. It’s a little bit south of Asheville. She’s about two hours from me.
👋👋👍👏👏👏
I would have called the cops if a bunch of bikers parked in front of my house.... lol

Great to almost see a smile on your face, Adam. Keep on truckin, and ridin. How many miles on Goliath?
He has almost 300,000 km
