There are two things that I completely admire about this tutorial. Firstly he actually created it in survival mode, without a voice over, and it still made perfect sense. Secondly, can we all just appreciate the fact that, not only did he give a list of blocks needed, he gave us the amount of each block we need as well? True legend

The real good thing is that he doesn't give just plain numbers of the materials he shows them in the stacks of 64, now that is some good tutorialing

Ok the volume of wood needed in the materials looked excessive, so I wanted to work out how much wood was needed.
Assuming you crafted all crafting tables, barrels, sticks and such out of spruce, because it’s the easiest to farm, you require:
1838 spruce logs to be cut down.
If these are the largest 2x2 spruce trees (couldn't find the average height) you would need to fell 14.704 trees.
921 of these get stripped and added to the build as is.
2595 spruce planks need to be crafted.
279 Oak logs need to be cut down.
2117 Logs total.
There would be 3038 durability lost on your axe before you start the build (total logs + stripped)
That is 12.152 iron axes, before you start.
Your 13th axe would have 208 durability left, (including the 3 logs you need to cut down to make 13 axes)
For the stone parts:
927 stone mined.
885 stay as cobble.
42 become stone.
9 turn into smooth stone.
These calculations assume you use the stone cutter so that stairs and walls are 1:1 with full blocks.
You would go through
3.708 pickaxes.
That means you need 51 iron invested in tools before starting the project.
Add to that the 133 iron used to craft lanterns, anvils, stonecutters and blast furnaces,
184 Iron needed,
927 cobblestone,
1838 spruce logs,
279 oak logs,
All in all, easy 1st day starter house.

@@muhammadthien5167 Ideally you should always make the storage system right in front of the entrance so you don't have to climb a bunch of ladders every five minutes. The storage system is meant to be organized, consolidated and easily accessible.

I like this because it shows extra details that make this easier to build such as showing where you need to put scafolding at or the amount of stacks rather than just a number that I have to divide myself.
You are a professional. We built this build in my minecraft world and it took me 3 days! The end result came out better then expected and it was extremely worth it.

*Edit* ~ It seems that on some minecraft versions lanterns cant be placed on trapdoors.. I was not aware of that before making the video.. Hope you can find some other place for those lanterns.. 😬

@Anonimni bruh just 4 saplings and lots of bone meal, a little grind on a skeleton spawner and 30 minutes of growing 2 by 2 trees and chopping them down.

I might be a slow builder but this house took me nine days to make and I fell off it trying to make it at least 1000 times the roof is super hard to do but I loved it at the end. Great build.❤

It was a lot of fun making this in the world and even more fun to make it a bit bitter then what was called for. kinda changed here and there little things around it but it turned out really well still. Thx for the step by step lay out it helped a lot!

I wonder if anyone has actually tried to build this in survival. Because I did. AND THE AMOUNT OF WOOD REQUIRED. IS. INSANE. I went far away from my home to find a snowy tundra to build this, and in order to keep the original look of the biome I only get wood by planting trees. I was mentally well until I started building the attic. FULL OF CHESTS AND BARRELS. I'm now crazy inside.

i did. i probably spent over four hours gathering enough wood for everything... and that doesn't even include everything else.. overall worth it though, really nice build

First of all, this is a great build that I built in my survival world but I have a few things to keep in mind if your going to build this.
1.if your on bedrock some things won’t work (ex. lanterns can’t be placed on trapdoors
2. Some parts use more resources than shown at the first part ( mostly grass ferns and flowers)
3. This build takes an incredibly long time so be prepared.
But I would still recommend this in your world.

Took me an hour since I’ve memorized this entire build since I’ve built it like 15 times in a creative word but using all the different types of wood instead of just spruce. Oak looks nice too. And so does acacia.
You can actually replace the trap door with Slabs which actually works decently
When I see these videos i just think people that can come up with this stuff are really incredible. Cause I tried coming up with a house design but my brain just cant think this way. Really impressive build here
I built this a year ago, and it’s still my main house in my favorite world. I literally live the look of it.. and it leaves so many options for you to be creative. I made it when I first started the world and don’t even have iron armor. I must say, the only mistake I made was not getting enough resources for myself first. Really appreciate all the perspectives you included, and it felt so good to finish it!❤️ would totally build it again

Great build! I used acacia wood, jungle wood, and deepslate for my house and I gotta say the colors accent so well.

Diamond axe with unbreaking 3 and efficiency 4 is my bestfriend, I have most of the wood and still have 951/1561, but I might break it while building because I make a lot of mistakes

Tip for getting Spruce wood. Get 4 saplings and put them all into a square and you get a giant spruce tree that gives atleast 64 peices of Spruce wood!

What I love the most about this is that you show, step by step, how to build in Survival. Including using scaffolding and the falls and mistakes. Really helped me recreate it in my own survival world. Thanks!
when making the layout, the side that's listed as "10 blocks" at the beginning changes to 12 blocks later on.(or was 12 to begin with) with the way it's made with the 4x4x4 block doorway its mathematically impossible that the total number of blocks on this side is 10, If anyone makes this just don't worry if you have to change the size of the layout a little

so true. i counted digging. double checked with the stone placer. and triple checked with the foundation stone. and realised that i somehow miscounted and ended up with a smaller house lolz

I have been playing Minecraft for about my entire life on and off and I can say without a shadow of a doubt this is the best build I’ve ever built in Minecraft now I’ve been playing Minecraft since I was seven years old so to say that this is one of the best builds I’ve ever seen as a huge compliment, and whoever came up with this did an amazing job designing this house
