honestly everything ive seen has been teachers doing their best to adapt and make things work in a shitty situation. a little goofing around is one thing and probably helps morale but people just being excessively disruptive really isn't that funny at least to me. my college classes were already difficult and moving them online has only made them harder fortunately everyone in my class is courteous and we all just make little jokes that arent disruptive. we actually have a second chat going on the side to be a place to get the energy out and keep the general class chat pretty focused during the teachers streams
