In the appeal they say it was a while ago, so they seem to assume that the phone may have auto-corrected. Here's the thing - they typed only one word and them pressed enter/send on the phone. A phone will not auto-correct unless they press space after that word they had typed, which again, this was one single word, so they have no reason to press space, and auto-correct wouldn't have triggered. With the discussion in the video about how this can't just be a really unfortunate typo - I disagree. I think it really was an unfortunate typo. Going back and watching these ban appeals makes me realize I really have thicker skin than I realized. Like case #64 it really wouldn't have bothered me much to have a dumb kid "threaten" me like. 2:16:37 Just putting in my thought here. But I find humans really interesting, trauma and all that, what it does to different kinds people. So it was interesting to hear Katie say that. Maybe Teo wouldn't have done that at 16, but that guy did. They've lived different lives, and react to things differently and see things in different ways. All my life until I was around 14-15, I was going through extreme "tempter tantrums" with my mom every single day where I'd scream and cry because I always felt like I was being attacked, even if I wasn't, I was very sensitive, and if I felt wronged, I took it very personally and wanted to, with all my power, prove myself to be the better person, that I was right. This is all due to childhood trauma, and I'm 17 now and doing a lot better, and have changed so much since then. So him being 16 and saying all that shit was really bad and wrong, but I totally believe him and can relate when he says that he's changed for the better at 18-19 years old.
