The cheese level was off the charts in this episode 🧀, I remember a plot about the Village People bringing a horse aboard and it getting loose then they had to race it against the love boat crew at the end of the episode for some reason 🤦
Did you know Anne Frank had a picture of Robert Stack on her wall in the hideout? It must have meant a lot to him to reach someone going through that and give some comfort in a horrible situation like Anne Frank went through.
Betty White catching Disco Fever on video is a goldmine, a goldmine I tell ya! How about some Fun Facts 4 Fanatics Of Fun Facts ?! - Felipe Rose was quite a popular stripper at a club in Greenwich Village a few years before becoming a member chosen for the Village People. In fact, Legend has it, HE was the reason for the idea of assembling different male role models as singers in a group. Once Jacques Morali spotted him in that night club shaking his ankle sleigh bells and money maker, his fate was sealed. But before Disco came calling, Felipe had already done a nude spread for After Dark magazine (a New York magazine that focused on up and coming artists & topics that other magazines weren't interested in covering- like Toni Basil's cabaret act, sex clubs, etc.) I have a copy somewhere, but I believe it was the October 1976 edition and it turns up sometimes on Ebay. Then of course Playgirl came calling and the entire group posed in scandalous pics for the February 1979 edition. Just some Fun Facts 4 Fanatics Of Fun Facts.
Damn music rights crap!!! Unless they thought the seniors watching this would freak out over that close up of Phillipe Rose dancing❤ That was quite an angle for that show!
@@robotrix Although I can't find anything that states this, I imagine the reason it is taking forever for the release of LOVE BOAT seasons 5 - 10 is due to music rights, estates of deceased celebrities, etc. If you are a fan of the tv series HAPPY DAYS and have purchased seasons 1-6 on dvd, then you surely have noticed they cut out almost every single song from the 50's - 60's, and replaced them with boring instrumentals. That completely ruins watching the show. That's why I like to get the "Fan DVD" versions off Esty, etc., because they contain the original show as aired before the ridiculous edited changes.
Simpson is good and handsome almost as his colleague victor willis and it seems he sings without playback here even if this coreography is not one of my fav
Ray Simpson's voice is accomplished but doesn't suit as the lead. VP music needs a deep powerful vocal with individuality and projection to soar over and around a male chrous - his just doesn't do that.

My last 6 brain cells in AP stats
I take it this was after Victor Willis left the band.
Looks like he took all the creativity with him. 😂

Where can I get a copy of playgirl with village people in it
Unfortunately, this scene was cut from the LOVE BOAT tv series on dvd.

When you turn up for the Love Boat but discover it’s a gay cruise!
Simpson is good and handsome almost as his colleague victor willis and it seems he sings without playback here even if this coreography is not one of my fav
Le chanteur c'est pas le même Victor willis etait partie du groupe en ce moment là c'est sur .
Ray Simpson's voice is accomplished but doesn't suit as the lead. VP music needs a deep powerful vocal with individuality and projection to soar over and around a male chrous - his just doesn't do that.
But the cop was usually the lead in their songs and the original had quit (although he either re-joined or does solo appearances as the cop now)...
*LOL oh my god they were so gay seriously. Yes I know, only two of the band were actually gay but come on they are just so gay*
I can’t believe they’re singing their worst song😢…..
I don't like it either!
And i don't like love boat...i liked only when i was a child
It's definitely not their best, but hey it's probably all the Love Boat budget would spare
The Village People had so many great songs until this abomination. This was their jump the shark moment. 😂 Abysmal.
No estoy de acuerdo con vos.
Yo escucho magic nigth y me dan mas ganas de vivir
They sucked literally
