Lights & Motion, you guys have helped me through the rough times. You guys make me feel so much more happy when I am down. You guys dont even know how much you have made me cry, smile, cry some more, and just be happy. You make me think of life differently. I would just want to thank you for all that you have done for me. You guys are truly blessed with the talent you have, the power of music.

I am speechless. This is just so perfect. This is the type of music that makes you imagine and create beautiful stories in your mind, it makes you expand your imagination, makes you feel carefree and blissful. This is what I call music because music is supposed to make you feel something and Lights & Motion does that to you. So happy I came across such a talented artist and musician like you, I've been wanting to find music like this for quite a long while and I've finally found it.

"The goal with my new album, Chronicle, was to take the listener on a emotional journey that ebbs and flows, and to try and create a very panoramic/widescreen experience, both sonically and compositionally. Out of all the tracks on the record, 'The Spectacular Quiet' encapsulates this approach the best. It's a very cinematic song, relying heavily on strings and brass to carry it forward and upward as it keeps on building. While writing TSQ, I internally dreamt up short movies to compose along to, and this helped me get the song to where I wanted it to land. It's been such a treat to be able to work with incredibly talented filmmakers at WeTheConspirators in true collaboration, across country limits, and to see them visually mirror what I tried to bring across sonically. Good music isn't determined by how many views it has, it's about how it makes you feel and although this deserves a lot more recognition, it is an amazing song

i know you problably won't see this, but i still wanna give my opinion about this. by far your best song. i have listened to this so many times i lost count, and i get such a feeling when I hear this.. it's like i'm being taken to another parallel universe where everything is good and peaceful, i really don't have the words for it. so glad that mrsuicidesheep reposted this or i would not have found you, and boy what a mistake that would have been. you really need to keep doing your thing, and really, please, DON'T stop doing these. ever. for real. i mean it.
p.s i play at an orchestra and I would love to play this with the entire orchestra, is there any way to do that?

Lights & Motion hey, never thought that you would reply.. but here we are.. as i said, i play in an orchestra, i'm a contrabassist, and I think that we could play this, all we needed was the tabs.. we have the strings and we can get a drum no problem, but we needed the tabs to play this.. is there any way to get this? thanks a lot!

Truly awesome, the visuals and the cinematography is great. But what really impressed me is how deep and more mature is your musical work: from the composing stage to the arrangement, sound palette, mix and master, everything is at its place, all the pieces of the puzzle working together. It's a glorious achievement and you should be proud. If I'm not wrong you started making music four years ago, right? Thank you for the kind words. Yes I started this project a few years ago and learned how to do everything myself from engineer to produce and mix. With this new album, Chronicle, I have really tried to push myself as far as I possibly could in terms of sonic quality and complexity. Hopefully you will like the album!

Since discovering M83 a while back, then stumbling onto A sudden burst of colour at a small gig in my hometown, I have now stumbled across your guys work and it is simply amazing. There are some feels that just can't be expressed with lyrics, but rather music. Huge well done on all your music and hope you guys find much success. If anyone could let me know the style of this and the afore mentioned bands that would really help me compile a "studying"/soul-exploring/reconsidering the precipice before I fall asleep playlist. +Rostafar Hepburn Props for mentioning "A Sudden Burst of Color" I looked them up after reading your comment. Great band. You may also want to check out the band "Hammock" not everything is instrumental, but their good. Or, just check out Lights & Motion's record company: Deep Elm. Their stuff is sold on a name your price basis. The head guy in Lights & Motion also has another project called "Inward Oceans" which is a little more piano oriented, but still with plenty of guitar swells.
