Studies and work in Sweden is a trap or not for immigrants

Thanks for addressing this. I wish more TH-camrs would talk about what Sweden did last year. It was so bad that Migrationsverket asked some schools not to extend their mandatory roll call. I saw it with my own eyes, not that I was told. University West kept extending for us, but Migrationsverket kept many of us waiting till we had to withdraw our applications in October. We now had to start applying for tuition refund. People lost THOUSANDS of Dollars! It was terrible! Smh.

I too had to withdraw my application in September after waiting for 4 months. I applied in June but in September there was no response. I just had to back out.

This is legit very frustrating.I think they're overly relaxed and don't want to be stressed in processing residence permits.They should also be very considerate of those at the receiving end of their work pace.

You have no idea. Schools resumed end of August, these people packed themselves and went for a month-long summer break from the middle of August. 😔

Most cases application is fast for SI scholars, delay within Sweden includes everyone!!….For advise to young couples I cannot give, make your decision yourself as its the best!!

You can start your process immediately after SI names are out. However nothing guarantees fast tracking....there's nothing like that
You just have to wait and you can also be lucky to get your decision quickly
