“Overload” is the name of the new EP by Prado, the young Peruvian electronic music artist, who during 2022 surprised us with a collection of tracks that explored the sounds of breakcore and IDM. In this new work, Prado takes his explorations even further and outlines a sound full of dissonant moments and disturbing rhythm, which once again finds a source of inspiration in the technological imagination and a dystopian vision of the future.
PRADO represents an evolution in the work of the young musician born in London, but based in Peru from a young age. Son of the jazz guitarist Andrés Prado and the singer and composer Paloma La Hoz, Nicolás Prado has trained as a guitarist, and has traveled through genres such as rock and jazz, but it has been in electronic music where he has developed a personal universe .
“Overload” is released December 7 via Buh Records. It will be available on all digital platforms and in a limited edition cassette.
