I arrived 21years late, but I loved the album, it's sounds pretty modern to me. Masterpieces are timeless.

My favourite by them, the other 2 are amazing but this one for me is one of those perfect albums. The composition in global terms is perfect, the speed, the tempo changes, all is perfectly orchestrated and makes it amazing, as the vocals, you can appreciate the Burzum influence on it, along whit the electronic parts that suit perfectly as a whole. 11/10 album i have listened it more than 30 times and i never get tired of it, especially of the 2 first songs

In my ears this is black metal in its perfection. Only bad thing is since i know this everything else just doesnt seem as great to me anymore :D

Great Album
Kind of Kvist melodies atmosfere, 1st and 3rd song. Good band and album.
The lyrics on this album are as special as the sound is. The story can be interpreted as a guy falling into schizophrenia as he is overwhelmed by hate. And when it is finished he closes out with his last words "Hinter mir Trümmer, vor mir das Tor" (Behind me the ruins, before me the gate) and is either embracing death - or ready to go on a killing spree. you decide how it ends

Hey guys. So anyone know what happened to the vocal artist of nagelfar? (pre virus west) obviously ruins of beverast is beyond indelible, but I do say! Simple existenz’s album is quite a gem. Seems this band members ghosted besides Alex.

Das dachte ich auch die ganze Zeit, als ich die Platten zum ersten mal gehört habe. Jedes wenn ich mich gefangen hatte, kam irgendne unerwartete Synthesizer Melodie, ein unfassbar fetter DrumPart oder die Vocals haben mich umgeklatscht. So begeistert hat mich selten was.
@@sarahpotter4008 Ja, so muss das auch sein. Genau an den richtigen Stellen passiert immer irgendwas, was einen direkt anfixt sanft mit dem Fuß zu wippen und andächtig im Takt zu nicken. Gerade vorhin "Weakling - Dead as dreams" wieder mal gehört. Kloppt nicht ganz so hart in die Fresse, hat aber auch diesen "Junge!" Effekt beim Hören.
