I don't get where you claim I'm dictating which states get arms, and which ones don't, or that I even believe in such a ridiculous standard. I'm just aware that while on paper the law may have provisions for CCW but in practice it can be very easy for the local DA to pursue a case against you if they want to. I've had many discussions regarding how self-defense laws work in regards to using a firearm in my own state, and even in a more gun friendly one, there can be quite a few legal stipulations regarding when one is allowed to use a firearm. Such stipulations include whether or not you are seen as the aggressor, did you escalated the situation into a fight, did you make an effort to retreat, pursued an attacker who is retreating, or if you showed disproportionate force towards the perceived threat. The incident with the driver was also pre-Bruen ruling so it would have been legally more difficult to conceal carry in NYC at the time that driver was attacked.
Road raging is super dangerous, and not just for the victim. I've heard plenty of stories of Road Rager's being straight up murdered because they messed with the wrong person. Even in countries that don't allow legal firearms, _you can still get seriously injured by your victim._
The one with bikes in just gonna say is completely justifiable. I’ve seen SO many of those street bikes act like the rules of the road will never apply to them. Yeah the only clear cut use here I can see would be the guy surrounded by bikers. That's self defense in most states. The number of people trying to hurt you already is enough for a watertight defense in most states. Add in the fact that they initiated the whole thing and the guys family was in the car. Watertight. The guy who got ran at with a bat would probably get off too but not nearly as solid ground as the poor dude in the suv. Sounds like your buddy got unlucky people have been firing out of vehicles without earpro during war for a long time until recently, not many of them went deaf on the spot.

Road rage was the precursor to trolling and the pure hate people spew online. Being in your car is similar psychological to sitting behind a computer screen. For some reason, when a person has a barrier between themselves and another person they become much more aggressive and short tempered. Maybe it’s cause they feel like they are safer? Or the car is an extension of their person? Idk but in both circumstances people act way different than they would have if a car or computer screen wasn’t between them and the confrontation.

Honestly. Nothing I loathe more than a road rager. Especially over trivial bullzhit. I get it. People are idiots. But we all got to deal. No need starting some zhit that you WILL be unable to finish. You never know if you'll piss some ACTUAL psychopath.
@@StrigidaeStrigiformes-sv6mj exactly, having urges is one thing, but making sure to keep those urges in check is what’s most important, otherwise you pay the ultimate price
@@StrigidaeStrigiformes-sv6mj ok I’m joking of course. Not about the abysmal state of our roads around here. There have been no major improvements/overhauls of the road system in 30-40 years. Even though the population has increased tenfold since then. I’m lucky enough to to be able to make my own work schedule so I just avoid crossing town or freeways from 11 am to 6pm. Even when I have I’ve never raged because I’m not 12 years old and throwing a fit. It’s funny to watch people lose it though. The dude in the video sounds like an absolute waste of skin too so not a huge surprise he pulled something like this.
It’s true. Whenever I get pissed off at people on the road it’s because I’m already upset about something else going in my life.
The guy with the mask attacked several people. He would cut them off just to attack them.
That explains the mask and the no license plate on the car and getting pissed at the person he cut off and hit with his car.
I know because I am literally him
That's a really odd suicide method.
Thank you 🙏 I was so confused 😭
He did get arrested though I remember hearing about it
It's crazy to me how brave people can be in these situations knowing that any one of these people they get out to attack could be completely armed and absolutely batshit crazy
I mean even if they’re not crazy and just armed. If I was in a car with my family and a group of 50 bikers was harassing me and tried unsuccessfully to rip me out of the vehicle, I’m running as many as I can off the road and trying to gtfo. If they tried to rip me out again (like they eventually did) they’re catching a 9mm to the chest like the guy in the video. You don’t play around a man’s wife and kids.
You gotta be 100% confident you're gonna be the craziest one in that interaction
@@Sacredsnow2 9mm? that situation happened to me they are getting my truck rifle and however much ammo I have on me.
Can't have that in a lot of states though I get that.
Dude would have had an airtight defense though from the amount of people threatening him and the fact his family was in the vehicle they were trying to actively rip him out of.
Plus the fact the bikers started it and that was caught on camera.
There are only like 4 or 5 states I can think of where he might get charged but they wouldn't convict, I dont think they could.

I do wonder about people that road rage, especially when I'm in the car with someone road raging that were perfectly mood-free before getting in the car. When they get mad at people driving normally I wonder if it's like a form of anxiety turned into anger or something.

Like I said, most of us are fine, but a lot of motorcycle groups are filled with some of the most entitled people you’d ever meet
Yeah my ex was really into the motorcycle thing and he told me stories about the gang he claimed he was a part of and showed me videos of them, and told me how they’re entitled and will steal peoples phones/property & throw them if they don’t like what you’re doing. Also if someone break checked me & then all their friends surrounded me I'd be calling 911 while doing everything in my power to get out of there. It doesn't matter who started in the wrong surrounding someone menacingly & then chasing them was not the right move.
That motorcycle Guy is bogus that was intentional & they went 150% on his ass for no reason

@@michaelfiori6700 Fuckle Chuck, I'm not the one writing NY's laws.

And if anyone has an issue with it they will try their absolute best to destroy your vehicle and/or assault you, but when you actually try to save yourself or defend yourself , they act like victims
They were on crotch rockets to lol not even real bikers
They were trying so hard to bait out an excuse for an assault, I'm surprised they stopped at the Dad considering how degenerate they are.
