I would look for another box that has the original remote control. There’s no way to program a DTV box without the original remote control. You can try setting up a universal remote but most are not compatible with DTV boxes to my knowledge.
Bought this to pick up analog channels in my country since analog channels are still prominent here (like 95% of my local channels), however it doesnt work...just picks up the 6 digital channels in my area. Any suggestions??
Not necessarily. You can connect the box to a TV (old or new) with the RCA plugs (red, white, yellow) or the RF out (with coaxial TV cable). How to Connect a Digital TV Converter Box to an Analog CRT TV - DTV Box to older television th-cam.com/video/WgbIP3F7rqQ/w-d-xo.html

i have a question sir..our local cable now was upgraded to digital signal, they installed digital box so that the reception of tv is nice and clear.. since i have one extra tv i connect it to local cable without box,it is very blurry now. what is the alternative solution to this? can i use rf modulator or video converter instead of their digital box? i want to try cheaper because their box was so expensive
The blurry channels you're getting may be unenctypted analog cable channels that can be received with the TV's built-in tuner. A digital converter box such as the one in my video is not useable for cable TV channels. The boxes from cable companies are proprietary, and needed to receive the digital cable subscription channels. No other box will work for that.
@@NorthcoasterHobby I think it's easier to use the remote control to search through channels instead of using my fingers to locate channels on the box.
@@NorthcoasterHobby Its a CM7003 which you showed in your video. Box does a scan finds all the stations which I get 45 to 65 depending on atmospheric conditions. I still use one of these for the pvr function
I wish analog was kept. Instead of just being unwatchable, it got slightly fuzzy.

@NorthcoasterHobby Guyana, South America. I have a TCL 2024 model smart TV

How do you get to the channel guide?
Usually pressing the 'OK' button on the remote control brings up a channel list. Pressing the 'EPG' button will bring up listings for the channels.
Do I need the hdmi plug ?

I haven't had many problems with them. On one the power supply quit, but it was still under warranty, so the company sent me another one.
