Daniel, we need you to review the Fusion IV HSH that's coming soon! I don't think there's anyone else more qualified than you out there considering the amount of various Fusions you have. The only nitpick I have with it is I've heard from the Modern Plus that the Babicz tremolo is a bit difficult to palm mute, and the Fusion IV is going to have that too. Have you any experience with that?
@@Ben-ld1qi Would love to check these out. I haven't tried the babicz bridge so far.But honestly, the Wilkinson is one of the most comfortable bridges I'vr ever played. Just from the specs I'm not sure, if this guitar has really improved worth the 200€ more to the EB model..Tbh, .I would have changed other things to improve the Fusion 3 HSH.
@DanielKraemerMusic I couldn't agree more with what you've said about the Fusions III HSH, my sibling has it with the ebony fretboard, I love it, both the tremolo and the fretboard, too bad the Cherry flame version of it is completely out of stock for it. I also don't see the Fusion IV HSH as a significant upgrade, but since I'm in the market for an HSH, I've been waiting for the Fusion IV to come out and now I'm also second guessing if it's worth the 200+ premium that may actually be not necessary. To be honest I'm just excited in hopes that they'll have a Cherry flame for the IV! Out of curiosity, which upgrades would you have preferred in the Fusion 3? Appreciate your feedback!
@@Ben-ld1qi Today I got a new blue EB HSH Fusion 3 B-stock. In perfect condition, only 277€. They are still selling the blue EB ones ;-) . As upgrades are concerned: Most important I wish they'd offer a red burst version HH EB and HSH EB. Also I'd prefer to have a locking nut on the HSH one, then it would stay in tune much better. An HSH with FR would also be nice. Other than that, I wouldn't change many things....maybe slightly deeper cutaways for better access of the upper frets and a more comfortable neck joint. But that 's all secondary. And I wish they install the Pickups with proper foam so that they would stay in straight position...but thats more of a manuifacturing issue I guess. I think, I will get a IV anyway, just to check out the TESLA pus in the Fusions. Cheers 😀
@@DanielKraemerMusic Well, congrats on your new purchase! I’m sure it’ll fit in perfectly with the rest of your impressive Fusion collection! In my region, we have to be extra careful when pulling the trigger on purchases since we need to pay shipping and VAT, and returns are only possible if there’s a serious issue. By the way, that’s the exact guitar my sibling owns, and I absolutely love it! The only reason I’m not getting it myself is because it’d be a bit silly for us to have the same guitar in the same color. That said, the Cherry Flame speaks to me just a little more, but the Blue Flame is undeniably gorgeous too! Speaking of the Cherry Flame, it’s my biggest gripe that they don’t keep it in stock! I currently have the HH FR with a roasted neck in Cherry, but I think I’d ultimately prefer the EB version instead of roasted. A locking nut on the HSH would indeed be a game-changer for tuning stability, great idea. BTW, just for fun, I once bought a Wilkinson double-locking trem to try, but it turned out to be just a tad too big to fit into the Fusion III FR cavity. Such a shame, I was really curious to give it a shot. As for the other changes you suggested, I completely agree! Deeper cutaways, a more comfortable neck joint, and properly installed pickup foam would be great improvements. Hopefully, HB listens to our feedback over time. If you do end up getting a Fusion IV, here’s wishing you luck with a flawless flame finish and no issues. I’m sure the whole HB community will be looking forward to your review. Rock on, brother! 🤘
