Excellent explanation. But in last question , savings per year was asked and we found savings per order. So we need to find No. of order for Q and Q* per year and then we get savings per year.

N = D/Q is itself the no. of order which we have to place in an year
So Ordering Cost = N×Co = D/Q × Co
