Not really. It’s when religion gets too ingrained into the political system. Religion on its own is fine because most people will live their own life, but when they mix it with politics and try to pass laws to tell others how to live…that’s when it’s a problem.

Dutch protestants don’t give Homos a death 💀 sentence.
☪️ as islam does. And the Netherlands 🇳🇱 is becoming very islamic. An all Dutch are afraid to open up their mouth against it. You do, No one will back you up. Cowards. The muslims are laughing. Gays can get married in the townhall and get beaten up by Moroccans outside. Thát’s the reality.
That's literally every where
The gays need to boycott Dubai.
You can't boycott a city. I don't understand why people see it as a problem. Don't want it. Leave it
Wouldn’t make a difference tbh
“They’re homophobic but they want gay money” is the shortest and most brilliant explanation for “conservative brain” I’ve ever heard. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
There are many kids who do not dare to talk about the subject in their countries for fear of repression or bad treatment. These cultures do not accept Gay people and in some regions it is a crime. I wish the best to Ali who made the decision to be free.
No offence, but how could people not know that he was gay? It's too obvious
Hi.dear
Don’t ask don’t tell..
Honestly, there are so many openly gay men in Dubai, most are foreigners and most definitely never do anything that would jeopardise their existence there, but you can tell they’re gay and no one really cares, im not so sure you could say the same for Riyadh or even some Southern European cities.
Money is power, that’s what its all about folks.
What's these southern European cities you talk about where it's more dangerous to be gay in, more dangerous than Dubai or Iran or other middle eastern realities??? 😅😅

Can you be Muslim and homosexual at the same time? I'm sorry if my question makes you uncomfortable, but it is so difficult for me to think that a homosexual man can accept himself as he is while he follows a religion that is not friendly to him.

Yes, we are accepted as long as we provide money. I would never go to visit a country where being what I am is illegal.
It’s very interesting his remarks about Dubai, which ring completely true to me. I lived there myself when I was younger, also in Abu Dhabi (& various other countries in the region such as Oman & Saudi Arabia & visited most of the others, generally on business). There has always been a “gay scene” there, but of necessity it has been discreet, although it existed in some very surprising quarters, specially in the upper levels of societies there (as I know myself). Great to see this young man & hear his experiences 👍😎.
Meanwhile uni students are holding signs saying “queers for Palestine” wearing a pride flag not realising what would happen to them over there.
LGBT people who support Islamist states are stupid because they wouldn't last a day in those places.

They don't want it.
Monotheism has screwed the world.
Religion is outdated tbh
Not really. It’s when religion gets too ingrained into the political system. Religion on its own is fine because most people will live their own life, but when they mix it with politics and try to pass laws to tell others how to live…that’s when it’s a problem.
@@EricT3769 Religion often becomes cultural practice, which is fine on its own, but organized belief in the surnatural is counter productive at best and outright problematic at worst.

Ali, I deserve nothing but all the best for you. You are a very brave young man to leave your country, family and everything you know to be true to yourself and live freely. It's difficult to be a young gay in the Western world, imagine being gay in Dubai, Syria...
There's literally no punishment but it's illegal to be gay in Dubai but now a lot of people are openly gay

Proud of you ali! Always find happiness in life and live where do you find home 🥹
Lovely One!!!! Always!!!! With Lovely People!!!!
I’ve been to Dubai several times. There are plenty of underground gay bars. It’s quite popular. Even law-enforcement know about it, but they never interfere so long as they keep it indoors. The drag contests there are amazing. There are so many gay men and women living there, yes they have to keep it to themselves, but like the young man said a lot of the young generation are open-minded and cool with it. Many of them don’t fear for their lives because they are surrounded by tourists and Europe and western culture.
This is sad.
This is why, we still need a move on so we can push more peace against prejudices.
MORE POWER FOR LGBT!
They don't want children look at people that wear clothes inappropriately in the middle East.
