Fr. Mike’s music is back so fast! Aww Father (and your amazing tech crew) you responded to our concern. THANK YOU for making us feel like loved children so far from your beloved parish family. ❤
I think the knowing comes from the moral law. It’s inscribed in our hearts. We know what’s just and good, even when we refuse to acknowledge, deep down we know.
A cross reference for Hebrews 8:11 can be found in Isaiah 54:13 "and all thy children shall be taught of the Lord. " I wonder🤔 Do we not see that promise fulfilled when the disciples were taught by Jesus? Do we not see it today, in you?🤗 I do!💖 Oh Lord Jesus as we sit alone in our homes reading from your word please help us to see that You are present, teaching us and making Yourself known in ways only You are able. We thank You Father God in Heaven for Jesus. May His beautiful name be praise forever. Amen.
Yes, the genealogy of Jesus is not so beautiful family of not so exemplary people. Its an interesting connection that you Father made about Judas, not following his vocation and us being disappointed with people when it happens with them. Thank you Father and God bless.
I often hear in the confessional that the only one that is perfect is Jesus, from the beginning Adam & Eve committed sin, hence sinners as you said in the beginning of your Homily. Through Jesus Christ we were saved & through our Baptism we have inherited Eternal Life, still living our faith in the way of Jesus & receiving the Eucharist 🙏. Thank you Father Mike for being a shepherd of your flock 🐏🐑
Greetings Father Mike! Wasn't the gospel set up nicely by the first reading from Hebrews? A Hebrew nicely explained the death of the old covenant and the succession with the new covenant... our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm currently reading a book called, "The Catholic Gentleman". The theme, throughout thus far is, men need to MAN UP. Do not be afraid to lead, especially the family, but speak God's Truth. If a man is worried what others might think of him, he's not a Catholic gentleman. I completely agree.
@@kathyglover7994 My daughter told me about it as she bought one for each of her boys. They are already devout Catholics with one entering college last year. However, like you said, we'll see!!
John died a Martyr. He died of Neglect. Yes it comes down to you not all the organization what we personally do. Luther found sinners in the C. Church. "nothing new under the sun."
Romans 5:1 KJV "Therefore being justified by Faith, we have Peace with GOD through our LORD JESUS CHRIST: 2 by Whom also we have access by Faith into this Grace wherein we stand and rejoice in Hope of the Glory of GOD."

John survived the boiling oil but......
Indeed. That sounds like martyrdom to me.
