Guide clumsy Luigi through huge ghost-infested mansions on an action-packed ghost hunt. Flash your Strobulb at the ghosts to stop them in their tracks and use the Poltergust 5000 to vacuum up the stunned ghosts energy. Once the number above the ghosts head reaches zero, he goes bye-bye!
Armed with the ghost-sucking Poltergust 5000 and other new gadgets, not only will you have to capture ghosts, but also solve puzzles and battle monster sized bosses. Can you and Luigi build up the courage to save the day?

I am a huge Luigi's Mansion fan, and I have played through every Luigi's Mansion game 100%, so seeing this at a David Busters recently for the first time was amazing! Unless Sega & Nintendo surprise us by releasing a Switch port where the Poltergust controls are emulated with the left & right Joy-Cons' motion sensors... ;)
That is, Nintendo care enough to release this on Switch since they never released the Mario Kart arcade games that had Pac-Man characters onto consoles.
An idea I had was to make these things like the things you put on Wii remotes during games like Wii Sports, but have them shaped like a Poltergust wand.

My son loves this game, the only Luigi's Mansion he's played. I hope the new Switch game can live up to his expectations...

Luigi's Mansion 3 on the Switch is a good game, but it's not at all like the arcade game. Like all arcade games, this was made specifically to be short and easy to pick up and play. The Switch version is a much longer and more story-driven game, and the gameplay is more comparable to Resident Evil, but for kids of course.
Found one of these at an arcade in a town near me, and I was ecstatic! As a huge fan of the games, finding one of these meant a lot to me. I had only seen pictures of the cabinet before, and never looked at gameplay, so I was in for a lovely experience! I absolutely loved it, and I'll definitely go back so I can play it again and hopefully complete the game one day!
By the way, the controller is not completely lightweight. After a while, it starts to make the wrist of your trigger hand hurt a bit.

I played this on holiday in north wales October just gone. It was so much fun but not got to go on it much as the game was too popular meaning I haven't complete it yet. Wales was the only place I found the game but I hope I come across it in Skegness next month

i love this game so much but today (my birthday) i went to Dave n Buster's to play and found out they put it away/got rid of it :( i'm so heartbroken and idk where else to play it!! my fave arcade game!! 😢
played this (like 5 times all in one d&b trip i used up all my play card points on it so i had to leave cause i spent all my money dont judge me)
my hands bended weird causing pain for like 1 hour in both of my hands and it echoes so much and its super loud like the volume is at 1000% that i got a headache
but i still had fun

That is awesome and I play it and I made it to the goal for my first time and I was the second Mansion which I know already but I have to stop and come up a ghostbuster plans to beat the arcade game no matter what

You can see a second, different coloured Luigi on-screen at one point in the video, same as Luigi's Mansion 2's multiplayer. Shame, considering it would've been a cool quirk for this version to feature Mario, but not a big deal considering it's first person anyway.

Considering they deliver for free give technical support for free (excluding parts). Have a decent 55 inch screen, motion sensors 2 guns and a full sized cabinet it's not that expensive. Also in some parts of the US and Japan you can actually get the game for free on an ALL.net subscription (sharing the earnings with Sega)
