Anyone who doesn't understand why John McCauley might be playing in front of Port o Potties has no idea who Deer Tick is. Not that I think it's a great place to plunk down for a set, but it's just par for the course. Love this band!!!
First off, what a fantastic name for a port-a-potty: "Honey Bucket"... Anyway, what a great performance! Nothing too flashy or extravagant: just him, a guitar, and an interested audience. Nowhere to hide. Perfectly intimate. And it just so happens that the Honey Bucket doors all slam shut with the beat, so it's almost like he had a percussionist with him, too. A really shitty percussionist (for the sake of TH-cam: pun intended...).
This is brilliant, always wanted to be at an acoustic performance like this

I think i'd prefer to hear a studio recording with a whole band sound...or is this it?..a guy and a guitar? (i'm not familiar w/ this band)
