I want to see you do all the maintenance to that scoot scoot step by step. I too have a vento triton r4 & I can't figure out a few things myself. I got it to run but idle very high & once I hit the brake it shut off. I also have a problem of my throttle not pulling. The throttle cable is the original stock cable but I think the set sut up is wrong. Your video was awesome by the way
Hello Juan, I would recommend checking out th-cam.com/play/PLC0A98FE7628CFA90.html And also his site 49ccscoot.com/ the tech library has lots of great info on getting your Triton going. And if more help needed, the forums are great too. Your issue sounds like combination of throttle adjustment and fueling. Would troubleshoot with lubing throttle cable or replacing, and redoing baseline carb settings, and checking proper petcock flow. Thanks, this was a fun junk restore. Hit a snag while taping part2, and ended up moving to other projects. Will try and continue as time permits.
it had some residual oil from assembly. ultimately did not matter bc even tho it ran, it ran very poorly. got most of a pt2 filmed but only did like 20mph once i actually rode it.. culprit could've been case compression loss or dodgey top end. moved onto other projects, got too many..

@@yanb1981 these engines are very lean from factory if it was ran with no air filter then that could have been the culprit. Great video:)
