Fredd was touring the country with a one-man show in which he dramatized Franklin's life by acting as him (similar to Hal Holbrook's "Mark Twain Tonight!"). Bill Asher, Liz Montgomery's husband- and producer/director of "BEWITCHED"- saw one of his performances, was impresed, and invited Wayne to appear as Ben in a two-part episode {"My Friend Ben"}.
David Mayhew it worked for a long while but the breakdown in morals ruined it all you hear termed how America lost its innocence and we did indeed lose that seemingly right after kennedy
A 1 - 14 years sentence is rather harsh for a father who wanted to spend his daughter's final months/week/days in Hawaii. Extenuating circumstances and all,
I SAID, THAT'S ONE HELLUVA HEARING AI... sorry, thats one helluva hearing aid that he's wearing. Or is it an iPod? Trivia: the wagon in 20:26 is the same one used in Code 3: The Sniper.
So sad indeed young people die of illnesses, while others throw away their life so stupidly, drinking, blowing, "shooting", speeding on highways... listening to (c)rap...
They still exist, and work very well. We have them in our most modern hospitals. They are used to swiftly send blood samples throughout the building. Try that with email!
Years ago Paris used them to send mail between local post offices. The Paris pneumatic post was a pneumatic tube message-carrying service that operated in the French capital from 1866. It was established because of the History · Beginnings · Opening to the public
The lieutenant, played by Fredd Wayne, would go on ,ten years or so later, to play Benjamin Franklin in the TV series ' Bewitched '.

Whit Bissell has been in alot of programs. Great character actor.
+Donald King Outstanding.
And a president of the Screen Actors Guild.
Sally Blaine, who played the nurse, was Loretta Young's sister.
Interesting story line, creating sympathy for the guy breaking the law.
He spent more time and effort breaking the law than he would have on a second job.
1 to 14 years is a harsh sentence, compassion should have been shown by the judge!
Things were so simple in those good ol days. trust, belief in man's goodness. What a bunch of suckers.

+Benoit Vanhees That's OK they just die anyways
chuckroast01 It's not because Iron Maiden sang "Only the good die young" that this statement makes sense...
@@chuckroast01 " anyways " ??? the word ' anyway ' never has an 's ' at the end.
Before the Internet and e-mails, there were pneumatic tubes, which transmitted messages by way of air.
