Weekend Trip to Pondicherry:
On Friday evening, we took a flight for Chennai from Kolkata. Stayed overnight there. On Saturday early morning started our journey to Pondicherry. It was nearly 150 km from Chennai.
We reached Pondicherry within three hours.
We booked a homestay named A La Villa Creole which is situated in the French Colony. The rooms are decorated with wooden antique furniture. Experienced a real "Home to Home" stay and also they served us homemade breakfast.
After breakfast, we took Scotty on rent and went to Paradise beach. A well maintained beach also crowded in afternoon and evening. There was two part of the beach. One where you have to pay an entry fee and can enjoy the ferry ride across the backwaters.
Rock beach, one of the most popular beach and we spent our whole evening there. Next day morning, we watched the gorgeous sunrise with picturesque views at the beach.
We went to Aurovilla and saw the Matrimandir from outside and had our breakfast in Dreamer’s Café.
Had our lunch in beautiful Coromandel café in French colony.
From there we visited Aurobindo Ashram.
Next day morning, we came to Chennai and took our flight for Kolkata.

Vijay Sharma you can take buses.. if you are not comfortable with bus then you can book a cab from any website like Ola mmt Yatra
