We wish they add a Cocoa stop! Brevard to Miami would be awesome. We have friends in Miami and would finally be able to visit more often if we didn’t have to drive everywhere!

TPA Tampa --- Disney --- Orlando --- MCO that corridor and than MCO to Disney Cruseline station before going south will be a major money maker and benefit for Disney as well.

Next time can you ask him if there are future plans to remove or reduce some grade crossings in areas to increase safety and speed in certain areas? I know they are working on the full build-out, connectivity, and profitability first, but after that I feel that reducing some of the grade crossings would benefit the system. It would probably increase ridership in the perception of "true high speed" and time saved as well as reliability and safety record.
Of course, there is a cost involved, but would like to hear about future plans.

I hope bright line goes through downtown Orlando and just not MCO because people mistaken how Orlando is built. The Orlando Airport is far from where most Orlando residents reside.

It’s unfortunate that Tampa has been on the butt end of all this infrastructure. Tampa Bay is one area that needs this kind of infrastructure.

What Brightline MUST do is to reach out to the Deutsche Bahn and copy some of their technology for the USA market. Germany done so much for trains in general for safety and operation that Brightline can copy it and just use it for us here in the USA. As more and more people see TRAIN's as an faster alternative to flights as more those HUB's will grow. Airports are perfect for this. You can take your own car there. Park it. Hop onto the Train and be hours later in Miami Airport from where you can use a rental car to get to your destination or taxi, uber, lyft. Once people see it we will see a bigger usage for this. Tampa - Orlando with 2 stops (Lakeland and Disney) will boost it even more. What we now miss but have a bit in place is BUS lines connect to those locations with faster routes and it will be used a lot more. Once people see they can use a train for commute and it only takes them 45min longer they will use it to remove gas costs on their cars and actually can get ready for work while on the train or wind down while on the train.

given the strong positive outlook for Brightline.
I'm curious as to their plans for expanded train sizes above the current 4 car trainsets.
    mayhaps a possible Coach/Cafe/Coach addition?

A food service with basic coffee and such will boost the Service Level. More important is electric access for laptops and cellphones as well as good internet service / cell service so the ride can become an extension off the office.

Port Saint Lucie is to small. But what you need is Amtrack or another local train to bridge the gap to the next Brightline train station.

@@odiliusrailfans ya it is really a pretty bad idea to build in existing rail lines, which is why the new track being built is good for brightline, but in the south Florida stretch it is pretty bad, sadly there’s not a lot of room for development

America they are behind in public transportation. American need more of high speed transit and tramways. And subways. And metros. And busses. We can use existing highways for Tram way.
