I love the unit! Really nice, easy work of breathing. If I could get hold of the conversion, I would just buy it. I find it interesting to dive, because you have to think ahead in terms of o2 content and depth. Keep it up, the topic deserves a revival!
As I have a complete Dräger Ray unit I will follow this with great interest. I have been making plans for this as well. Keep up your great work Achim 👍🏼
Why not use your dissatisfaction with the status quo and your motivation driven success to produce a new unit. Make something you love that is perfect for you. I feel this would be a perfect time to introduce an affordable/obtainable oxygen rebreather to the market. Not only do you have the school, you also have a market with a very real equipment vacuum. You have the training and available instructors to safely educate divers everywhere. Thousands of people would dive O2 if they could afford it. But, in a world where a used Draeger costs 800-1000 USD it is out of reach to many people. ISE is in a great position to help close that gap.
no kidding: I have 4 O2 units and 1 Mixedgas CCR that I made over the last couple of years and thought today of making a series of this introducing them.. lets see. Thanks for your feedback!
@@CoastalDevelopment I would love to see your creations. The only reason I can afford a rebreather is because I made it myself. It's a really good way to get a deeper understanding into the physics behind how they work. I think a series of videos with your creations would be a great opportunity to educate us viewers on some of the less considered bits of rebreathers.
I own a Dräger Dolphin, as far as I know it´s pretty much the same thing. Do you think it´s a good idea to convert it into an oxygen rebreather as well? Thx!
If you have any more extra rebreathers just sitting around in boxes that you forgot about send them to my broke a$$ and I’ll put it to good use... amazing how some people would never afford this and u forgot you even had that kicking around.

Ich dachte schon in den ersten paar Sekunden, du hättest einen Hund im Karton!😂😂😂
what are your thoughts on the KISS Sidewinder or KISS Sidekick and how they compare to they types of diving you do?
