Greetings from SE PA! I enjoy your videos for the easy, NOT dumbed down manner in which you present information. Looking forward to your cold weather planting. I'll live vicariously through you. (Much too cold to even consider this for far too many weeks.) Keep up the good work!

Where are you in SE PA? I lived in Philly for 5 years and Montgomery County for 8 years. I moved out of Conshy in the end of 2016.

@@TheMillennialGardener We were practically neighbors! We're in East Norriton, just off Germantown Pike and the railroad tracks, if you're familiar with it. Okay, maybe not 'practically neighbors' but close enough. We support PW in all their fundraisers and have had 12th grade interns at my husband's CPA practice for years. Small world, eh?

Familiar with it? I worked on Felton Road for years, and in college, we used to take the trip out to Minado for the lunch sushi buffet price! You're probably one of the few people that actually knows where Felton Road is. It is a very small world. Thanks for subscribing and the nice things you said about my videos. I hope you continue to watch and check in every now and again on my old stomping grounds 😀

I am happy to have real beds this time that I can reuse for years to come. I’ll still use the bags for things like watermelon since they vine out so heavily and bags will control their growth. That’s great that you have a new place, too. Pace yourself and make it a fun project. A little at a time.

When the driver had to dump the dirt in the front, I immediately regretted building so many beds! It took me 6.5 hours on Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday to move it all, but I’m glad I did it. If you order smaller loads it isn’t so bad, especially if you can find a helper. And you only have to do it once.

Hey man, I'm just south of you in Shallotte. I was wondering where you got the compost from? I just built raised beds for the first time and am needing some compost to fill them. Great videos by the way.

Justin White small world, my parents have a house in Shallotte. I got it from Hoffman Ecoworks. They’re probably barely 20 mins from you down in Southport. Great guy over there. I really recommend them.
