Custom War Doctor, Baker, and Mk35

The extended threads on the Baker are held by the hollow rod I normally use on the War Doctor builds.
Mk35 Is the brainchild of GreatWazoo42. We went over his design together. I made simple work of some areas he designed more complex. Then I complicated the areas he intended to be simple... balance.

The Mk35 (named so because that's how many years I'd been a fan of Doctor Who when I made the design) is my attempt to merge all the aspects of each of the sonic screwdriver versions I've loved over the years. We worked together to evolve my drawings and random thoughts into the prop seen here. Thank you everyone for the compliments on our design! I'm really looking forward to enjoying this one in person.
On a side note. I was 35 when I put it together.

+Starfleet2360 That was by accident. The design inspiration was Tom Baker's console time rotor. While we were still in the detail settling stage the new Capaldi Sonic was revealed. We saw the similarity and decided to combine elements. The layout is still based on the time rotor but the blue lighting gives it a hint of Capaldi. :-)

The mk35 is absolutely amazing,it's like a mix of classic and the new 12th sonic. Flawless!

the Mk35 is basically a combination of the 12th Doctor's Second Sonic and the Classic Sonics but has a dash of self modification

The MK35 is worthy of and absolutely needs to be on the show some day. If Ejiofor or Watson get the role, they have to consider using that. It is honestly the best combination of eras and elements that preceded it. Well done and how much would one set me back?
Thanks! It was built for a buddy through trade (and for fun). Totaling up hours and materials Mk35 would be a $500-$600 range build. Some details could always be left out or changed to alter the price...

the light pattern on the neck of the sonic screwdriver is the same on the 12th doctor's new sonic screwdriver. Can you make the 12th doctor's new sonic screwdriver?
I think it might just be a work in progress but he has started work on rivers sonic.

Subjection: I would put a slit in the U shape part on the last screwdriver swiveling emitter, use small black wire & connect them up to the screws on the emitter. That way you can hide the wire.
That was in the original design but depths, non conductive grommets, and yadda yadda yadda. Lots of engineering vs seeing two wires.

Would there be a way to get the emitter head to swivel on its own via electronics? That would make the sonic pretty much perfect! Not that it isn't already, mind! That sonic is 100% WHO!

How much do you charge for a Tom Baker? I've been doing cosplay as #4 at comics conventions, and a customer would stand out way better than 20$ plastic one. Yours look amazing

That'd be a boring video. Its just a matter of sanding the LED with really fine sandpaper. Like 2000-3500 grit.
