I am immensely fascinated by the melodious voice of Hemant Kumar which has a soothing, calming, comforting, mesmerising and divinely effect. Undoubtedly he has been a singer par excellence who would always be aptly listened, applauded and remembered in India and world over by future generations to come as there has been no match to his versatility. I am a senior citizen settled in Canada but as a daily routine listen to his Hindi songs after going to bed and within a couple of minutes fall asleep. As a matter of fact, I enjoy and relish the influence ("Nasha") of his unique voice which I find far more powerful than that of a best blended scotch available in whole of Europe, United Kingdom, Canada and US besides Asia put together. May be he was a God's own creation who came into being for the enchantment of Angels, Sufis, Saints and Goddesses besides human beings.
