🏨 Introduction
Welcome to my review of the Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites and Apartments, located in the bustling Al Barsha area of Dubai. This hotel offers stunning views of Sheikh Zayed Road, the Marina, and even the Palm.
📍 Location
Situated on Sheikh Zayed Road, the hotel is perfectly connected with a metro station right in front, offering easy access from the airport to the Marina. Its prime location means you can get anywhere in Dubai quickly.
🏢 Hotel Amenities
Lobby: Clean and organized with a concierge desk, café, and pub.
Rooms: Spacious and modern, featuring large windows with incredible views. Our King room was light-filled and beautifully decorated.
Facilities: Includes a well-equipped gym, a large pool, a kids’ club, and even a squash court. The hotel also has a supermarket, pharmacy, beauty salon, and a sports bar.
🛌 Room Experience
The King room we stayed in was massive at 61 square meters, with a huge bed, ample storage, and a modern bathroom. The view from the room was spectacular, encompassing the ocean, the Burj Al Arab, and the Marina.
🍽️ Dining
The breakfast buffet looked extensive and well-stocked, though we didn’t try it. The hotel offers convenient in-room dining and has several nearby restaurants, including a Kenyan BBQ and a club with karaoke booths.
🌇 Nearby Attractions
Located within walking distance of popular spots like the Marina and the Palm, and just a short metro ride away from Dubai Mall. The area around the hotel is also filled with cafes, shops, and restaurants, providing plenty of options for dining and entertainment.

Thank you for the video. We also stayed at the mercure in Barsha. We also enjoyed our stay there. Just the pool was a little disappointing compared to other hotels. Btw do you book always with the hotel sites, or how do you profit from you membership status?
I always book directly! And if i ever find a cheaper deal on booking.com i email the hotel and ask them to match the price!
You can also buy 1 single share of accor for 35 usd and get lifelong gold status as long as you hold the share😁

@@yls5837 Hi, the pool Area was kind of old and oppressive. Also the Water in the pool did not have the clarity which I usually know from Pools in Dubai.
The price per night is much more than $44.
In Booking it is around $120.

Hi Humaidb! I stayed there in May so perhaps it was just a low season rate and it was also short notice so maybe a flash sale ontop of that! I literally searched on google hotel search less than a week in advance and found that rate. I can imagine the rate will go up after september and over winter because of a lot more tourists around! But try other OTAs like agoda, trip.com etc Also remember if you don't book directly you cannot expect to get accor benefits like upgrades and free drinks unless you are veryyyyy lucky.

Did they ask any deposit? And if they did then how much? And did they return it?
Yes they asked for a credit card to make a credit reservation/deposit. I can't remember how much but I think around the value fo 2 extra nights. I have no idea how long it took to get the deposit/cancel the reserved credit but usually it takes 2 weeks unless you ask the hotel to cancel the credit reservation when you check out then it's instantaneous. I have never paid cash deposit so I can't tell you how that works.
Was it loud in the room? That road seams so noisy...
Once the balcony door is closed you can barely hear a thing. If the AC is on then you hear nothing. But if the balcony door is open then you will definitely hear it!
Hey how did you manage to get the modern suite?
Basically there are actually 2 hotels in the building both called mercure al Barsha but one is residences and one is suites. The residences are older and on lower floors. The suites are these ones. If you book directly on the accor website you can see both. But when you book through 3rd party sometimes it's unclear what you will get! So book directly if you want to be sure!

I'm not sure, we did not eat at the restaurants when I stayed there or have breakfast. We went out to eat and bought snacks from the shop. But according to others the food is good.
