Yes and no. I've got videos in JDFB Insider on defending Double Wing. What a lot of coaches like to do is take the Free Safety off and replace him with an extra Linebacker. Then adjust the front somewhat, but the basic premise of the defense doesn't change.
Yes, double tight predicates a lot on the pulling guards. Backers watch guard to near back not the motion. Motion is window dressing for counter and criss cross or dive. If it’s power or super power you’ll know with backside guard pulling across the formation. spill and kill. Also have to account for waggle passes and te dumps or quick outs
Also, backside guard pulls on the counter as well. Motion, fake toss, inside hand off opposite way. Flow and follow the pull. Some weaker teams will fake to the pull side so depends on tape. See gap fill gap for those teams.
What if Q read the 6 tech? Y arc to F/S G fold around T's down block on 3 to M. Z arc to CB. Read E. Pitch S/S. *B/S End chases it down, run the reverse with the Z. Just my idea.
good stuff coach I appreciate the knowledge brotha
This helps I’m currently in the stands at football game and my team is getting destroyed by a wing t. Very helpful will tell the head coach.
What school?

Would anything change if the offense went double TE and and Double Wing?

Then it's speed option. End tackles the QB, SS and FS run to the pitch (or corner on a crack-replace). Someone's got to beat a block
I play madden I do as u say need more bunch cover 4 more
just use the umbrella defense
There is no stopping or defending the wing-t
You are highly mistaken sir. It can easily be stopped.
No
@@Johnny_Savage_ Wing T is impossible to defend… otherwise Fort Hill wouldn’t be the most winningest team in the entire country
Coach wide 9 cover 4 , nickel wide 9 Cover 3 nickel wide 9, mmmm bunch vs cover 4 more video
They wouldn't run down to that look. They would run Buck and Trap. And you'd be done.
There's answers for everything
@@Joe4372 Sure, but if you really want you stop wing T you have to be willing to go 6-2 or 7-2.
