I remember playing Legacy of Goku 2 and this What if's version of the "Infinite Engine" made me remember just how much tougher the Android 19 and 20 fights felt compared to the Android 17 and 18 fights in that game because you can't use energy attacks against these enemies.

They could still appear here, just maybe not in the same role they were in before.
I can imagine 16 being mostly intact due to how personal of a project he was to Gero, but the dividing point between this and canon may be Gero considering 17/18 as complete failures and sidelining the idea of cyborgs or biological creations as a result. 17 and 18 may at best have an alpha version of the infinite energy system (assuming they haven't been completely "disposed of") but the developed version would go to himself and 20, along with the rapid combat analysis he now had time to develop since he didn't burn time trying to control the unruly twins or get the Cell project going.
Welp Goku's down because of the Heart Virus, Vegeta lost, and I doubt Piccolo or F Trunks will be able to win here. 😬 My guess on what they need to do next is a team Solar Flare to escape & regroup to figure out what to do next. 🤔 Still pretty strange this is considered an April Fool's what if and not the Zamasu in Kid Goku's body what if. In hindsight, Vegeta being humiliated by Android 18 who whooped his butt is better than being drained dry by Android 19. At least Vegeta went down swinging.
I’d like to see what if Gero found the big gete star before creating the androids? Red ribbon army in space and Gero could technically go back to his original plan with WAY better facilities thanks to the star. I strongly feel like Gero would be way worse a threat using the star than metal cooler even.
This battle is like when you reload a turn in Civ V with that one RNG rule switched on, and the seed for battle calc is allowed to have new random noise on reload- suddenly the 50/50 goes the AI's way.
I will say this ive "watched" your videos for years but i usually always just listened as i did something or fell asleep but this is the first time i actually tried to watch your video and you gotta add some clips or something like we're just looking at you as you talk a bit awkward of a video if your actually watching
My Poor boy Yamcha is now traumatized be being absorbed like a juice box :( Goku always forgets to take his medicine, but now is more dangerous then ever. I do like the way they explain that 19 can adjust to Goku fighting patterns because if you have advanced tech in a android, they should be able to do things others can such as absorbing energy and analyzing your fighting style and repair itself, android 19 has become too dangerous and once again vegeta pride is his downfall
I'm not sure I like the idea Androids 17 and 18 never existing but I _do_ like the idea of Gero and 19 being far more formidable. Gero especially should be stronger than 19, 17 and 18. Rather than 17 and 18 not existing, I think the saga would have been better if _Cell_ hadn't existed.

maybe for the next chapters of this story you can have Dr. Gero and 19 travel every city doing something similar to Cell when he absorbed people but difference is 19 is sucking the humans dry, and that Gero can go to the News TV and announce his plans to revive the Red Ribbon Army, and tell the world that for too long has humans and earthlings been seen as weak, and too long has Earth been invaded by powerful aliens who want to dominate and destroy, he makes examples of Vegeta, Nappa and Frieza along with King Piccolo, and that it is time to create army of earthlings who are stronger, to creat 'perfect beings', an army of 'prefect beings' and implores people of earth who are interested to join him, join him creating a perfect army, a perfect world, perfect beings the universe has ever seen. and maybe when Gero is successful at recreating the army, he sets up a Tournament, for any fighter that challenges the new 'Perfected' Red Ribbon Army' authority. and maybe have Tao and Shen apart of the army.
Methinks this What If will be what I'll be voting for over all of the others, though admittedly, I'd have also liked to explore "What If Zamasu Possessed Goku's Childish Body in the Past" and "What If Tarble was Sent to the Crane School on Earth".
What I really want for what if, I would love to see what if Sin trained with Goku and Piccolo during the three-year time skip to prepare for the androids. Why wouldn’t you wanna train with your best friend and basically your nephew if you’re preparing to fight killer androids that’s crazy.
With how this seemed to start as an hommage to Toriyama, I can’t help but feel it’s a bit of a waste to make it one of the what if’s that might end up not continuing. Just a thought. In the meantime, interesting how various elements of the androids here feel reminiscent of another mechanical menace… "THE BIG GETE STAR ENABLED ME TO CHEAT DEATH!"
Don't make us choose, man, these are all too good! I'm curious as to how far you can take just the two Androids. With 16, 17, 18, it was able to be dragged out since for them it was a road trip to Goku's house. Also I'm hoping you consider keeping Gohan's power level somewhat comparable to his future counterpart. I always found a big plothole in the fact that the Gohan in this timeline (with a few extra years of training before the Androids) was able to go SSJ2, yet a Gohan in another timeline, with years and years of battles with the Androids, was not even able to become a stronger SSJ. I forgot if the idea to make it Gohan who defeats Cell Toriyama's idea, or if that was also directions from the higher ups.
I imagine that Gohan becoming the guy was a Toriyama idea, which is why I'm interested in this one. I imagine the ending will be similar to the Cell Saga ending, just with a way different road to get there
Okay upon getting a second part I’m really getting into this story. While I was curious to see more upon the first part, it wasn’t my top pick. This one’s got me hooked though. It makes me sad since I think Tarble has so much potential for an ongoing story, but this one is incredibly interesting.

Ah yes… the April Fool’s what if that should’ve just been a series made as a tribute to Toriyama instead of being one of the options for this year’s April Fools. Don’t get me wrong Masako, this is an intriguing story, but let’s be honest with ourselves here. This was going to win the poll the MOMENT you invoked Akra Toriyama. Honestly, this what if has arguably the LEAST going for it outside of its initial saga. The Tarble what if has WAY more potential for long term storytelling, ESPECIALLY if Goku is still in the picture. Think about it; The two saiyans meeting in the World Matrial Arts Tournament, becoming friendly rivals, Tarble telling Goku about them being Saiyans, the rivalry that could blossom from them being Saiyans. The reveal of Vegeta being Tarble’s brother. And that’s just up through the Saiyan Saga
It really goes to show that having BOTH Ki/Energy Absorbing Hands, along with the Infinite Engine like 17's/18's is a nasty combo!!! 🤯 And I feel like this What If version's of their Ki/Absorbing Hands is EERILY similar to Cell's "absorption". 😵💫
