Hey! loved ur reaction and new to ur channel too! Idk if I should spoil this for you or not for this (38:28) cuz I've read the whole webtoon for MMH. But if u want answers (acc to webtoon) then here it is: So basically all this resentment from Sumin and her wanting Jiwon's man (well technically she's not just after her man but everything she has) has everything to do from the time she was a kid, way before this 10 year thing cuz both jiwon and sumin were friends since they were little kids. From what Sumin saw since she was a kid, (keep in mind that Jiwon's father was alive till her teenage years at least) Jiwon had a loving parent that showered her with love while she on the other had a mother that was abusive and violent with sumin since she was a kid. So naturally jealousy towards jiwon was built up with hatred because to sumin it was unfair that jiwon had everything that she was supposed to have - good parent and good grades and good grades meant being praised in school while sumin thrown in the shadows. In short, she was jealous of jiwon as a kid and wanted everything she had which is why she befriended jiwon in the first place.

Those type of regression/turnback stories are very popular a few years back in Chinese novels or manhuas. Basically, the main characters have a chance to turn back time after they died to redo their lives and take revenge against people have wronged them or save died beloved family/friend/lover.
