how to write \cite with author name coming first and then a number like in most survey paper that seen?
That is accomplished with a different bst file. Instread of using IEEEtran.bst, use bst from MDPI or elsevier, it will show refs as you are expecting

The template folder includes this file IEEEtran.cls. kindly download again and run the template from the same folder

After creating folder which app we have to use I used Adobe acrobat it is saying it is not supporting
You can use any pdf viewer. Try some other one
