      There actually is. A blind man once told me that in order to keep his clothes wrinkle free after washing he does not squeez dry. He hangs it up on the line completely wet and allow the son to steam dry it. Believe me when you look at his clothes you can never tell it wasn't ironed.

    we had a brownout once and I absolutely needed to iron my uniform- my mother told me to heat the iron on the stove (we use a gas stove) and iron away. It worked, but you don't really want to heat the iron on direct heat, use a skillet first and please keep the flame at minimum. Hurrah for moms!

    Throw your clothes in the dryer with a few ice cubes. The ice cubes will melt and the steam from them will remove the wrinkles.
    (For those who say putting ice cubes in a dryer will damage the machine, I’ve never had an issue. But, another option would be wetting a small towel and throwing that in with your clothes)

    • @steezuskrist7389
      @steezuskrist7389 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Stephen Tisdale What if I'm drying a load of small wet towels and I don't want them to be wrinkly? I tried a small wet t-shirt but it was no contest...ant to that puzzle

    • @joanjohnson2119

      Try wet dryer sheets by adding 3 sheets for a small load of shirts, blouses and especially T-shirts, 15 minutes or less should remove wrinkles.

    The flat iron one seemed to work at first but it would leave these folds/ pinches in the shirt. It was also hard to get to the middle of the shirt. I tried the hair dryer one and it worked better. I didn't have a spray bottle so I took a water bottle and used a box cutter to poke a hole in the lid.

    What iron? I dont have time. I read that if you have a dryer just throw in your shirt and toss in a few ice cubes. They of course will melt but slow enough to steam your shirt.

    • @misskim2058
      @misskim2058 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Or just spritz it with water and toss it in the dryer until it isn’t wrinkled. 5 minutes usually does it...or toss in a damp cloth with it (lintless, anything damp will do, but a washcloth could leave fuzzies), no ice cubes necessary. A full sized spray bottle is $1 at Dollar Tree, or tiny travel-sized misting ones are 2/$1 in a package. I put Orange Blossom water in one, and Rose water in another (from the grocery store, most ethnic grocery stores have them when main grocery stores don’t, about $3 each for a bottle that lasts a long time). Good to freshen clothes, nice on the face and body on a hot day too. And I keep a plain water spray bottle as well.
      Life’s too short to iron, I’ve more important things to do. 😊
