Alfie with breathing, you need to take in little bits of air very quickly! When you run, however fast you run, make your breathing pattern fit with each step you take. Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth twice each time. So --- (take one step, in through nose, take another step, in through nose) take the third step (out through mouth) take the 4th step (out through mouth) and then repeat. When you run uphill too, make sure you run on the tips of your toes and do fast short strides. When going downhill let gravity take you but make longer strides and land on your heel (and flick your foot up just before your foot lands) to stretch out your calves!
