At Chelsea a few years ago, the BBC did a Gardener's World poll: "Monty" or "Alan". I wish I'd been there. I'd have said "Don't care. They're not Geoff".
Really enjoyed watching Geoff Hamilton he was such an inspiration very down to earth, Nick has done such a good job in keeping gardens so nice for more people to enjoy especially people that never had the joy of watching Geoff on gardeners World
I have wonderful memories from childhood in the 80s of watching Geoff Hamilton on Gardeners world with my Grandad and going out and working the allotment with him. He taught me how to trench and cane up wonderful Runner bean structures that produced superb, tender and tasty beans 😊 I wish I had space in my little postage stamp garden for them.
I loved Geoff Hamilton and was heart broken when he passed away. I used to watch Garderners World every Friday night. I have his book Paradise gardens and have created one of my own and "A haven for wildlife!!!"c
I've been in horticulture for 47 years. Geoff was my hero. Saw him at nec & grew some coleus in my greenhouse, put them on his grave. Total professional rip x

Let's be fair...Alan and Monty have continued the legacy of Gardeners World, wonderfully for everybody to share.

it is great! - Thanks for the comment -Sean
Nick sounds very much like the father. Geoff had a big impact on my gardening as a teenager and I'm no spring chicken now. Lovely video. Thanks.
Thanks for watching! We make fresh videos every week and do a gardening podcast which comes out on Sunday mornings -Sean
