Bronze no problem in normal cleaning. But tin coated brass not like that. One full night soak in cow dung after that normal cleaning. Search in you tube video is there.

Do not keep salt in brass vessel...salt eats into the vessel...keep salt in ceramic jar

Yes we can make porridge in bronze. We cannot use anything that has tamarind and turmeric in bronze. I keep it for not more than 3 hrs
