Thanks so much for posting!!! I have always loved their skating and I always will…and Uncle Dick seems to find this performance appropriately relaxed and jazzy. But, to me, there appears to be something “off” or maybe anticlimactic about this…I don’t know what it is. Maybe they are too proper throughout, despite what the music is saying? To borrow Ms. Betty Calloway’s words, maybe their delivery was too “clinical” for the jazzy music. Still, I am still convinced that this couple needed to be at the top of the podium in Lake Placid.
Given the horrors that were L&K's OSP and FD that season, yes without a doubt they should have been. It's hard to judge because we have literally two other OSPs to compare this with from the same competition. I like it and given the crowds reaction, maybe everything else was completely underwhelming?
OSP dances must've been difficult to create. Every team had to essentially create a new compulsory dance every off season. I wonder if that's why the ISU switched to the OD.

Very lovely indeed! And of course Ms Betty Calloway was their trainer!
Wonderful and definitely should've been Olympic Champions. Winning Worlds a month later doesn't really make up for it.

SO MUCH better than the top team musical difficult skated very well
