I think the dock is essential for the pocket paired with a decent Joystick what a wonderful experience.

The Dock is a must for anyone that does not have a MiSTer, but even if you have a MiSTer, it's still nice, and the way things are going, it looks as if things will only get better.
I'm waiting for the DAC to be restocked so I can combine shipping with the dock, don't really feel like paying for shipping twice with Analogues exorbitant prices. But it's damn frustrating not knowing how long they'll be out of stock for.

Just play the other gb cores or is there a need for a frame around the picture ?
Borders are part of it, for the experience and some games like Kirby Dreamland 2 have additional audio effects when played via the Super Gameboy

Dragon Breed. It's available on MiSTer, as part of the Irem M72 core.
For whatever reason the neo geo core doesn’t work for me :-(
Delete it manually, and run an updater, hopefully that'll sort it out for you.

I just got a new 8bitdo pro 2 it was a bears behind to get it to work on the dock. The sn30pro + worked easier

For some reason, Batrider core in Arcade menu does allow CRT Stretch Width on the dock. I haven't found another one yet though. It's a Tate shmup and CRT stretch width fills the height of your external display.
Oh Damn...I didn`t even know there was a smaller whd Pocket Version. I only started games via adf files 🤦♂ Whatever...let`s go with the full Version 🤩

Has anyone tested Paul Vince’s Amiga Game Selector with Analogue Pocket now when there’s support for bigger HD image? Just installed it to Powkiddy RGB30 and it’s great. Wonder if it work with Analogue Pocket? 😊
7:50 hey pixel, cherry ninja I have a question how did you get all those options on your analogue pocket for example, “arcade compatible “ when I did the update on my updater I don’t see it
With Analogue Pocket options, there's an option to group openFPGA cores. You just need to switch it on.

Where I can get full version of MegaAGS? Can’t find it from Archive. I have pocket version that’s missing all Amiga demos.

Thanks for bringing this Size option to my attention! - I think, though, that the Integer isn't "real" integer scaling in both directions - only vertical integer scaling. Otherwise Sharpness wouldn't change anything. I mean if the Sharpness changes the look it's because the image is scaled / blurred - but if it's real Integer (both horizontal and vertical) no sharpness is necessary since the pixels are as sharp as can be, right?
Keep in mind the Stretch CRT wide option is only for the pocket mode, not for docked. In pocket mode it really works well to stretch the screen within the window.
@@CookieMonsterJams Got it. I don't use the CRT mode(s) though and notice the blurry image even in integer mode where no blur should occur.

I didn't comprehensively test all of them, but what I did worked fine in docked mode.
@@PixelCherryNinja weird it wont seem to work for neo geo or any core only GB,GBC, but i only get Trinitron or normal.
@@T200026 use Matt Panela's updater, and select option 7, which will add all the additional filters.
@@PixelCherryNinja i always use that updater i forgot i did a new sd card and didn't use option 7 this time, cheers did you mention to do that in the video ? as some others cannot get Neo Geo to do it.. cheers Buddy, bed time now lol.
How did you manage to get all the other display modes in? I am running analogue os 2.1, neo geo core 0.8.1 from Mazamars312 but only have crt Trinitron as only display mode
Easiest way is option 7 in Pupdate
Great, many thanks for that help, it works now! In the end it was option 5 and than 5 again, but using pupdate instead of pocket_updater basically was the trick, it has a ton of more features. Thanks again. 🙏

I always enjoy your videos. Now that we have received the big 2.0 update and the recent 2.1…do you have any insight on when there might be an update on the PC Engine CD core? Especially one that will support more than 27 tracks.
I don't know TBH, but given the fact that the same developer just updated the Amiga core, it sounds like it's probable other cores will get updated too.
So does this update allow you to use any filter on the Spiritualized GB/GBA cores? Or do we still need to use Budude's GB core and wait for an updated GBA core?

I don't know what i'm doing wrong but I have my SD on exfat and did all the updates but the amiga vision still not working for me ...
Did you add the larger .hdf file manually?
Updaters will fetch the core but not the asset.
Get the last version for amiga vision (not analogue pocket version). Copy all content from games/amiga inside common folder in analogue pocket.
I really want to be able to make custom display modes. That would be awesome.
Give it a shot, I believe there's guidance on analogue's website.
